Root Restoring rom--

Hey all- any response is appreciated, should be easy--

If i am restoring a previous ROM, do i need to wipe anything?

data/cache/dalvik

format/system? anything?

or is "restore" automatically scripted to make it work?

I always do a full wipe prior to restoring. However, I don't believe it's a necessity.

I was leaning towards that. Jw, what is your definition of a full wipe WORM?

everyone seems to do it differently, different ways, everything 3 times, etc--

do you format /cache /system and that too?

I would call a full wipe doing a factory reset, clearing cache, and clearing dalvik cache. Just doing it once is enough, no 3 times, unless it is a sunday where the day of the month is divisible by both 3 and 11 but only if there has been a full moon earlier in the month and the wind is blowing from the northeast with gusts no faster than 17 mph nevermind no multiwipes are needed.

I usually only wipe cache and dalvik cache before I restore
