Help My X10 problems

i am here today to seek help from you guys..

alright... i am now using a sony ericsson x10.. i have some problems with it.

- no end charging
my phone's Led light will still light up even thkugh the screen indicates my battery is 100%.. but i tried to drain my battery by keep on using it.. this problem occurs now..

-not sentitive touch screen.. my phone has problem when comes to touching.. it is not that sensitive but the not sentitive part is just only at the corners and top part..

anyone of you experience this?? please share with me how did you solve this..

As for the LED,...I am confused. Does the light stay lit? What colour? Do you use any apps that would mess with the LED colours? So when my phone is at 80 percent and charging it goes green...it reaches 100 percent 10 minutes later and the phone DOES stay lit. That is normal.

As for the screen sensitivity....does your phone have any sort of screen protector? Is your phone dirty or scratched?

Hmmm.. the LED light that I mean is the green light still lits up(Green) when my phone is fully charged..

About the screen protector, yes, my phone is with a layer of screen protector.. it is the anti-scratch protector and my screen is not scratch.. it is still not sensitive for me to touch even though I've just cleane it.. any idea to solve it? I think the LED light is fine as what you said was same as mine. If yours doesn't have any problem means that's same for me..

To fix the screen sensitivity problem. Remove the screen protector.

I personally haven't used a screen protector or case since I first got the phone 10 months ago or so. My buddy has had a screen protector and case on his phone and I find it definitely is not as accurate and especially with multi touch, it didn't work as well.

Or if you are really protective of your screen..buy another protector....remove the old one...test the phone without it. Then when you are done testing put on a new one...see if it makes any difference.

Also make sure there is not 2 screen protectors, the X10 comes with one that a lot of people didn't even know about and they were putting another protector on top, you really have to look at the corners to see it, I have had mine for about a year and I still have the original screen protector on it and the sensitivity is fine. Also the led light might be stuck on from something else like a text message, voicemail...ect, if not you could try downloading "Contact LED Indicator" which is a handy app for setting your led to different colors for different things. Just some suggestions, hope one of them fixes the issue.

I was very disappointed with it when I first bought the phone, particularly compared to the iPhone.

I've since found out that the X10 has a plastic screen (to save weight, and more importantly money) and as a result the screen sensitivity sufferers some what compared to devices with glass screens.[/FONT]

Have you also taken the factory fitted protector off?

Did that make much of a difference?
