Root CM7 GB question

Well I couldn't take it anymore and flashed back to my MIUI lastnight. CM7 is just too glitchy for me. So there, I tried it trophy and don't like it...lol. Maybe when it gets finalized I will try it again cause it's not a bad Rom.

Who would have thought the Rom I put off the most (MIUI) would be the one I love the most.

That's good, each person has their own preference.....I tried MIUI for about half a day, I couldn't stand it any longer than that :p

I was up there with the people that supported MIUI and loved it. However the airplane mode just got to be too much for me and then I ran in to other bugs where I could not get data at all to work, still had service, but data would be out for 58 of 60 min in an hour. This was at the time the CM7 for GB got done. I have to say I think this version on CM7 is running great.

Speed = Advantage to CM7GB
Theme options = MIUI, like being able to mix and match
Battery Life = CM7GB, I think this is because of the kernel because MIUI beat the original CM7
Launcher = I really locked the stock launcher on MIUI, but I am back on GoLauncher and have no issues.
Issues = CM7GB, I have not had any issues that effect my day to day use. MIUI did not really have any issues until the end and then even when I tried to go back to the original release.

Revnumbers has done a great job on this release.

I totaly agree with you on the not being able to take the "iphone" look. If MIUI didn't have the custom themes to get rid of that Iphone look I would have never flashed it. Of course you also have to use a home replacement app.

What I like the most is the UI. There are allot of Roms and themes out there for the Droid X and they are all good Roms but you can only take so much of the same look. No matter which Rom you flash, all your icons and menus are the same. Even with theming.

MIUI has a completely different UI and it's quite honestly refreashing to see something different on my phone. I am waiting for MIUI to go GB. Then we'll be cookin with gas.....lol.

Too glitchy? No details? Probably some simple fixes...

I'm using CM74GB and as I told Bo, is baby bottom-smooth. I am a Stock Gblur fanboi, but I really like this and will stay on it for the time being. I really don't understand the led lights though....yet.

Are you talking about the blinding green led when charging. I read via the kindle app every night and that think hurt my eyes so bad I had to put a piece of electrical tape over it.
