I like it, but you can remove it with the new Control Panel app .23 installed, along with other changes.

yes the new miui control panel is quite nice, and yes the google at the top is quite annoying, but luckily its easily removed, ALONG WITH THE CLOCK!!!!

this is great for miui now they have user chosen customizations for the rom, now they are on the ball with cm7

I wonder if its going to be any better than before. I ran it for a while when it came out but gave up on it due to Bluetooth and issue w data connectivity and airplane mode. I'd love to try it again if that is fixed. Currently I'm running sensei mod 602 and getting 30-50% more battery life than I was getting on miui, ssx 2 or liquid ginger but I gotta admit it's not as fast (at least not for me) ...... I guess I could try the supercharge script

Battery life is a little better. Airplane bug is fixed as well as a few other things. Not sure about BT i dont even use it in my car.

This version is working MUCH better than the previous GB kernel build IMO - I like what's implemented when the ROM is booting. Seems smoother, battery life so far with heavy usage is a little better, hard to tell - flashed this morning, will calibrate tomorrow or tonight. Control panel is a nice little touch of CM7 but if you have a theme that you like it kinda renders useless BUT it is nice to be able to do want you want if you want which is always great. Jakebites mod is nice too, but not included - not sure if this is a GB thing (been a while since I've been stock) but holding the settings button on boot sets you into a "Safe Mode", wish that was an option on Reboot like sense.

With a different launcher or just folders this is no iphone look-a-like for sure, check out the SJ_Honeycomb theme too - nice

This is a great port by DXC and framework43 it has all the fixes included... I love the stock launcher for some reason and now it has the scrollable widget mod included too. In conjunction with Android pro Widgets and I get my lookalike LPP Facebook and twitter Widgets and the great graphical look from the stock launcher. (iPhone I know, but I like it). Also, the 2x4 flip clock has been fixed to read in 12 hr instead of 24.

I've been running the .16 GB for about a day and a half, battery life seems a bit worse than the stock .605 rooted.......but it's hard to tell because I haven't put it down much? I'll have a better idea by the end of the week I'm sure.

No, its on a Galaxy S but I've always used the bar across the top on MUIU - almost as accurate as %s, but I wasn't on .602 long enough to even see BUT I use a speedo app on my motorcycle with this phone that displays battery in 1% increments so I assume we got it,

Just follow the link above, no data wipe at all - it even states that this zip clears all cache for you but I do it anyways just in case. Simple installation. I was having problems with FC, freezing ect. with .19 but that very well could have been due to user error on my part during installation, didn't have enough time to tell.

If the Devs keep up this good work, implement jakebites into the ROM without using a emulator and get the battery a little better IMHO this will be the ROM to beat - I've tried all the ones (at least posted on AF) and this ones stuck the longest so I must like it

i think the battery life is great, when not being used it uses less battery than froyo cm7 and miui, it just sits there, i took it down to 90% when i got to my softball game at 6pm, and when i left at 9pm it was still at 90!!! several phone calls and texts later im at 70% at around 12am so i think the battery life is stellar

and i tried that honeycomb theme before, i loved the battery of it charging, but other times i had the other battery symbol and because i couldnt figure out how to get rid of it, i didnt keep the theme, so for now im on stock miui theme, with the status bar hidden

So how come every time I start up I get a lovely dialog saying
"Move data to SD card
Screenshots and photos will be migrated to the SD card to free up more internal memory"???

The first time it was cute. Silly phone, I don't have screenshots or photos in internal memory to migrate... But you go ahead and do it any way you little ambitious rascal!

But now it is still doing it every time, and it is getting old pretty quick... Any thoughts?

i have never heard of this one, it might be a preference that was selected, DXC is the probably your best bet at contacting to find a resolution to this issue,

post the issue there and dxc will respond as quickly as possible, he seems to be very good about that.
