To start off, Reppard's rom is bangin. Absolutly love it, but there's a little issue have. It seems I can't hear sounds when playing back a video. It makes this pop noise then no sound. When I have headphones, it makes this annoying long whistle and beeping noise. But what's stranger is when I use the camcorder shortcut it plays back my sound after recording and pressing playback. I don't know if I'm the only one with this isssue. :(

just tried the camcorder shortcut that was mentioned in this post to fix the sound, but it still does the same thing, no sound and just clicks! anyone one else manage to find a way to fix this?

I dont know if this would help but reboot the phone. It worked for me after i backed up the DSP manager. I was too lazy to flash the Reppard rom again lol so I just used Playful's rom and BobZ rom. So far I like their awesome feautures, I havent rebooted in days and the problem is fixed. On the Reppard i think it was the DSP manager that would screw things up. I remember before opening camera i had my headphones playing with the manager on. I soon realized that rebooting fixed it, but i wasn't going to reboot every second so i uninstalled it. No problems, and camera works.

P.S After rebooting open the shortcut, or use titanium to freeze dsp before rebooting, this was an alternative to restoring sound for me.

btw did you delete any apps off the rom that was preinstalled?

Well not really uninstalled just that I had an adwlauncher ex. So I uninstalled the old launcher. But I didn't get any problems. I'm still running video smothly wicth sound on the camera, and my friend did the same thing and his sound works as well since we took off dsp, but when I run the nandroid backup it works perfectly. But then it decides to make a beep sound, all I know is most people got force close issues with dsp which made differences to sounds.
