Help Battery Power with Exchange Email

First, I would confirm that Exchange is causing the issue. Have you removed the account and checked to see if your battery life returned to normal?

No, I haven't tried that yet, but I guess I should. It's the only thing I've added lately, and the battery started draining faster immediately after I loaded it. I will give that a try though and see what happens.

Thanks!

Well, I tried removing the Exchange email and the battery seemed to last longer like before. Anyone have any other suggestions?

This is a classic problem. MailDroid was a PIG and I had to get rid of that. Enhanced Email is much better but a full day is still tough. (I get lots of email.)
There are probably some Exchange only clients that are better but I need one that can handle IMAP or POP accounts too otherwise I get my email coming at me through a bunch of different clients.

EE is based on the native client, so I'm hoping that ICS has a new client with better support and great battery life.
