Will the Rezound have a better than average soundcard?

I read the Rezound will include some Beats software....does anybody know if it might have a higher quality soundcard? I play music in my car through my phone, so this would be a big deal.

No... beats is nothing more than EQ settings when you plug in headphones. There is no 'soundcard' really, at least nothing any different than anything else

Probably nothing much if anything. If the Rezound had a special DAC and or an in line amp (N900 has one), THEN there would be something. Seems close to 100% marketing gimmick.

Yep, seems just a lame EQ setting to pump up the bass and deflate the treble.

I personally use bluetooth headphones and custom eq settings so beats means didly to me. I could care less and have thought it was a marketing gimmick from the start really.

If they would have improved the external speaker that would mean much more to me. The Inc1 and Tbolt were fair to ok, but the Inc2 is kinda anemic. Of course we're talking about a speaker that's a 1/4" in diameter and expecting it to do more than 60-70dB (normal conversation), and the tech just isn't there yet.

I use bluetooth for my tunes as well. I can't deal with the wires catching on everything with earbuds and the like. Beats is not boosting my desire for the rezound. I am like vcwuser, I long for a better on board speaker though. Something with some quality sound for ringtones and conversation would be a plus.
