Help Google unlocking dramas

Hey guys, was at a party and some mate decided it would be funny to put in the wrong pattern too many times. So it said to put in a google email and password, except ive tried google and gmail accounts and as soon as i click Sign In on the phone screen it just keeps saying wrong password/account.

So im really not sure what to do, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Not 100% sure, but I think that you might have to do a factory reset.

You would loose all data off the phone, but you should be able to link the phone back with your gmail account, which would mean that all the apps you have should start downloading again when you do.

The phone will need to connect to the gmail servers to verify the account is correct so if you don't have an active data connection, you will have to factory reset. You can do this by holding volume down whilst powering on and selecting factory reset in the bootloader.
