@Chrizzl:

I had the same problem and i read the thread. What I found out is that I needed to load 121 then "dirty flash" 126, the latest at the time. Try that. Its actually a pretty good ROM if you can get it going.

I would love to run this ROM, but i flash it (116)and get it runing then I DL all my saved apps from the market, then I restore data from nandroid then it starts to FC android.process.acore. and I cant get it to go away.

now Im going to dirty load 126 over the top of thhis and see what happens???

sorry ment 124

i might try this but considering i already had 2 failed attempts... not sure how much patience i have. i bet this would work tho, might try it and report back. or someone should!

Two things. If you folks would actually read the thread, you would have seen that the process you're going through is no longer needed. Build 134 was posted which cleared it up. Like I've said before, ignoring the people asking questions does NOT work. Read the thread people. Help yourselves before posting. Chances are the answer is already there. All future support will be done on http://InfectedRom.com

Second, if you don't own tibu, I don't know what you're waiting on. It's imo paid for itself countless times for me. One click restore, access to more settings and tons more options. Go buy it imo. You will NOT regret it.

Just to prove my point.

I did read the thread sir. A few times actually. Browsed the Infected ROM site, found a few links; nothing dissimilar from any links posted on this forum that I could find. Tried to "help myself" by asking a few questions, tried to flash a few more times etc., no luck.

The last 4 pages are people asking questions about TiBu, bluetooth, anything. When I posted, I did not feel my posts were off topic at all. Others responded saying they had the same problems.

As for TiBu, I simply do not have the money to purchase the app (college student, been eating cereal w/ no milk for three days in a row).

As far as I can see, Directory listing for www.androidfilehost.com/main/Thunderbolt_Developers/Virus/Eternity/Buildbox/3.5/old/ this is the only link I can find, "r126" uploaded 6 days or a week ago (and the one i tried to flash multiple times.)

Could you kindly point me in the right direction to the 134 build you were referring to? If you cant, can anybody else?

I gotta say, I HATE the "i wish the stupid nooby lazy people would just read the thread." I realize it is your thread, but geez.

Also, I searched quite a bit yesterday to locate 134. It wasn't on the download list, it was tucked in a thread. If you were lucky enough to stumble on post 5147 or whatever, then you got the link. thank you very much to sharkyloco for all those looking for the easy link!!!!

@chrizzl... this link to 134 will definitely solve the your problems. It is a stable load and the ROM is worth the effort. Good luck! Keep posting and asking q's!! Someone will always try to help.

It has nothing to do with this being my thread, it has to do with people continuously asking questions and wasting my time and theirs when the answer is literally right there. That just doesn't even make sense. It's not the noobs I have issues with. I was a noob eight months ago, but i read and learned. I ask less questions than I answer by a long shot.

I think the majority of people checking the thread are "casual" rooters who come in and a few times a week and see what updates are available. There are far less really experienced users who can answer all the questions, so I can see why it would get frustrating at times. Best advice I can give to people looking for an answer is to Google search your problem, then click on the appropriate link to the forum that has your answer. It's a lot easier sometimes than using the forum thread search (though I have success with both).

Example: "What is the meaning of life?"

Answer: "(Fill in the blank)"

Maybe each thread for ROM's can have a FAQ post underneath the OP, and when things get asked over and over, or if something significant changes, then they can just be told to look there (or this could be in the OP). I usually check the changelog, but it doesn't usually have all the answers.

Not to start anything, but bottom line, i (and others) did read around. if the answer being "right there" = not being in the download section, and being 50 pages back from the most recent page, i dont feel bad about not finding it!

thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction.

have a good weekend yall

Just looked over this thread and I notice a few of my fellow mods have already offered suggestions on how to handle questions and answers. I'd like to point out two things with regards to the most recent posts.

1: Anything is easy to find when you know where it is. If you don't know where it is then it makes things a bit more complicated. If it is a question of updates or changes to things dating back to the original post, then updating the original post might be helpful to everyone involved.

2: Nobody's time is wasted when someone is helped.

I will make one final reminder for everyone to play nice in this thread.

This is a fifty fifty answer. This thread isn't 50 pages. And like I said before they did waste time, that issue was fixed.

Mods please lock(not delete as there's a lot of info here for those that read it) this thread as I will no longer be supporting it here. All future support will be done on http://InfectedRom.com myself and many others are waiting to help there.

Well, I'm not really sure how you would consider it a 50/50 answer. The truth of the matter is that this rom as well as this forum are presented to people to use. If no one used the rom then it would be pretty useless as would this forum. The people that you view as wasting your time are in fact also taking their time to use the rom in this thread. So it is equal time spent. Since a few people have pointed out that some information has been difficult to find I would gather that many of them have "wasted" (to use your word) more of their time than they have of yours trying to seek the information needed to actually give the rom more meaning. The only way this would not be the case is if you in fact believe your time to be more valuable than anyone else's time.

On this forum everyone's time is considered to be equal. The forum rules are quite clear on the fact that telling members to "go search" is not acceptable and I (along with other mods) would count "go read" as the same message. Please see the quoted forum rule below:

If someone comes here and asks a question, either answer it or don't. If you're going to suggest the search feature, be polite about it. Nothing irks me more than when I go to a forum, (and use the search!), then ask a question because I want some one-on-one with my problem, and get a simple "Use the search." reply. Suggesting it is encouraged, but don't withhold the answer because they don't.

I can understand if you feel that you can't accept that. I do hope that you chose to come back and contribute some more. However, the site Rules and Guidelines must be adhered to as well as the Zero Tolerance Policy.

I will lock the thread as you requested, please feel free to PM me if you change your mind and wish it to be reopened.

Have a good day.
