So, as we all have heard, CyanogenMod is dropping support for the Droid. My question is then, is there anyone out there who is thinking of trying to get ICS to work on the Droid?
I am very much removed from the knowledge of requirements to run ICS and such, so we might be so far off that we can't slip by like we did with Gingerbread, but I thought the reason we got dropped was more due to the amount of difficulty finding legacy drivers for our hardware, not because we didn't have the specs to be able to do it (I mean, they even got it running partially on a G1 ).
I do understand this would probably be a very small group of people - but if you are looking at trying to build an ICS ROM for the Droid and read this, message me if you need a tester I'm in tech support so I understand troubleshooting, and can take very good notes - usually good enough to make up for lack of knowledge in some arenas.
