Guys, Im facing a strange issue. Im on stock Rom of Micromax A70. Initially I have accidentally uninstalled Market by Root Uninstaller. But I have re-installed the same. But now Im facing a strange issue. If I select an app to be installed through market, it works fine till the process of downloading but just right after downloading, the market force closes and the selected app just keeps on showing installing in the notification but nothing installs. Help needed from you guys pls:thinking::thinking::thinking:

P.S: my market is a user app now according to the system:eek:

install market by the following mwthod then it will work

>open root explorer
>mount system as r/w
>copy the market.apk to system/app using a root explorer
>long hold the file after copying and select permissions in the options
>give permissions like this or refer the attatched image for permissions
read write
read
read

>reboot

try this and tell me if it works or not

I think you are rooted already and you have already made a decision to flash stock rom so just give this a try first.
Just do the same what sam told you.rename the apk to Vending.apk and put that in /system/app and give permissions as explained.
Delete a file named "system@app@Vending.apk@classes.dex" from /data/dalvik-cache
Delete a folder named "com.android.vending" in /data/data
Then reboot the phone.Make sure you have backed up the rom or you have stock rom by now and you have clockworkmod recovery installed already to flash the rom if anything goes wrong.

@sam... still it showed it is a user app... i can uninstall it.. when i try to install a market update it shows that im trying to replace a sys app... but if i give continue it shows the app is not installed.. creepy!

@cool.gautam: i did factory resets several times but to my surprise it just restored settings and removed the 3rd party apps but didnt restore the original apps... what ever i've deleted thru Root Uninstaller remained un installed...

@mastermind...thanks bro.. what u adviced has worked for me... now it is a system app and unable to be un installed...:D market works just fine now!!

Thank u so much guys for ur help and support...
