Root EXTREME noob-ular question

OK, after flashing a new rom, where do I go to restore my apps? I installed CM7 and first off, I did not get Titanium Backup with it. I had TB on my prev ROM and I can see it on my sdcard but I just haven't found the way to restore it (and all my other apps) into the new ROM! Stupid. Stupid...

You can go to the market and download TB for free from there. Did you flash the GAPPS zip that goes along with the CM7 rom? It contains all of the Google Apps that normally come with a sense rom.(Market, Gmail, Google Search, ....)

I do not recall flashing GAPPS. Also, I failed to mention that I simply cannot find the "market" app with this room - and I just Googled the market app and went to the site to download. It appeared to be downloading but it never reached my notifications letting me know that it had indeed downloaded..! Sorry man, once I get this first rom under my belt...it should smooth out, I hope!

Relax. You have lost nothing. As xtreem has pointed out you may simply download the application. Then you can. Restore from there

I just went to the Android Market and looked at TB and it shows that it is "installed". Am I stupid or what! It is nowhere on any of my screens!

OK I found that I needed to check the box allowing apps from other sources. so after that I am in file manager in the apps backup and I see all my apps. is there a way to select all and install all at once? seems all I can do is one at a time!

You did dl gapps?
titanium backup pro allows a batch restore from menu. Do not restore any system apps, they can mess up your rom.

edit: the system apps are in red print, don't restore them.

unfortunately, no! I didn't know what GAPPS was so I chose NOT to dl it! WHAT A NOOOOB

Also Titanium backup has a free version and a donate version with key, so if you paid for it, and just downloaded the key, you wont see the app
