Help When texting/typing keyboard will not turn as phone turns.

Hello had my samsung galaxy ace for not even a month yet, and the phone has worked well except when typing/texting (especially when texting) I like to turn the phone sideways so the keyboard is larger and it is easier to type. I had been doing this for a while and then suddenly when I turn the phone to enlarge the keyboard, the keyboard will not turn and orient itself to my view.

This has been frustrating for me and would like to know what is wrong.

Hello and welcome to Android Forum. Are you using the default keyboard or an installed one from the market? If not, then you might have accidentally disabled screen auto-rotate. Go to settings>display>auto-rotate screen and make sure it's checked(enabled).

Hi guys, or an even quicker way - slide down the "notification bar" from top of the screen & on the right is the auto-rotation button, tap on it to make sure it is highlighted! Voila! Hope this helps. Graham
