Root Nandroid Download

Anyone know where I can download a copy of Nandroid? I've been looking and can't seem to find a download link...

What exactly do you mean? A Nandroid backup is the backup you take of your phone before you flash anything. Are you looking for a stock nandroid backup of a specific phone?

Well, basically what happened is I tried to install Cyanogenmod 7 on my LG MyTouch and something got messed up in the process. Now when I turn the phone on the only thing that loads is the screen which shows an android on a skateboard. That screen replays repeatedly for about five minutes after which I get a system crash error screen.
My wife has the same phone so I was hoping to use her phone to back up the rom and then restore it on my device.
If you have any other suggestions as to how I can fix my problem I'm interested in hearing what you have to say.

You could check your phone's forum to see how to return to stock (androidforums.com/android-phones/). What kind of phone is it anyway?

Yeah, I already checked it, but haven't really checked in the past day or two. It's an LG MyTouch.

It might be worth going back into recovery mode and flashing the cm7 zip again as I know on the gs2 you usually have to flash it twice, so worth a shot.

Edit: I don't often get to ninja a mod. I'm going to enjoy this one.

Can you boot back in to clockwork? Just go through the ROM install process again. Wipe Data/Factory reset, Wipe System Partition, Wipe Both Caches, install the zip file and the google apps package and you should be good to go.

Can you get into CWM Recovery (turn off phone, hold volume down and press power, keep holding volume down until CWM loads). If you created a backup of your prior rom you would be able to restore it from here. Otherwise, your could wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache to see if you can get the phone to boot.

Can't figure out to get the phone to boot into recovery mode. Contacted LG and they will not give the the correct process, they just keep saying that "That's only for when the update process is interrupted."
Can't boot back into clockwork either, phone will not do ANYTHING except load that stupid boot screen.
Getting very frustrated here...

Power off the phone. Hold Volume Down and Power. This should boot you into recovery (either LG or CWM).

I have a copy of the stock system rom saved on my sd card AND on my pc... If only I could figure out a way to just reinstall the system from my pc...

volume up +power or
volume up+down+power

Also, did you see Shotgun84 and El Presidente's responses above. Looks like installing CM7 twice may do the trick (plus they list a few things to wipe that I missed).

Ok, I'll try the other key combos suggested. If I can get back in I'm going to flash back up the original rom and delete all the rest..

No go. No key combo works and the only thing that I can do is get it to go into software update mode.

Ok, so I was able to get a copy of some LG programming software. Is there a way that I can take the backup of my rom, convert it to a file that the software will read? LG uses a KDZ file format.

I'm not sure if you can convert, but there might well be stock ROMs kicking about.

I'll have a look around, see what I can find.

Well, I've already tried using the mobile update tool to fix it. It will detect the phone but tells me the software is up to date. I can put it into software update mode, but then it doesn't reload the software.
I can try using android sdk tools with the command prompt. Maybe I can push the software onto the phone that way...

El Presidente! Your last post helped me fix my phone! Thanks so much man! I was able to use the command prompt with the Android SDK tool and put it into recovery mode. From there I was able to wipe the caches and it rebooted and is now running CM7...! Now I also have a backup of the original rom and the currently nightly build of CM7 for my phone and I'm gonna try switching between the two...
