how can i upload a cyanogen rom with the google aps?

how can i download the tether ups?

what does WIPE and FLASH means and how do i do it?

please help

How come your post worries me somewhat that you attempted the rooting

Follow the instructions closely in the "How to root your Nexus thread" in this part of the Nexus forum.......have two browser windows open on your computer - one for the Unlockr videos & one for the written instructions. Follow them both through bit by bit.

That is how I did it the first time.

Save the google apps .zip file to the root of your SD card. Boot into recovery. Select flash from SD card, select that zip file.

Ooookay. I think you should go read some tutorials. Try this one.

there are no tutorials on how to load a cyanogen rom and then install the google apps.
this is where im stuck

Check the following link and you should find all the information you need (plus, hyperlinks to download the latest Cyanogen ROM, Google Apps pack & Radio - beware the Radio update, as this I have heard is the one thing that could seriously brick your phone!).

As long as you have correctly rooted your phone, loaded the recovery image (so you can take Nandroid backups plus other functionality), you can download the ROM and Google Apps pack. Save them to the root of your SC Card (so they are not in any folder) & then install each one from Recovery menu (hold trackball & Power down together when starting the phone boot).

Should work okay but I am not an expert but have had no problems loading the ROM, etc over the last week (had to do a wipe & reinstall Friday night, as I had loaded a Metamorph theme, removed it by loading a Nandroid backup, then discovering my Gmail synchronisation had broken).

Don't do the radio unless you need to or feel really confident.

Let us know how you get on.

OK DUDE......i had the same issues but its an easy fix. The latest Cyanogen ROM is on the unlockr.com along with detailed instructions on how to install it....You basically put it on your computer first, then from there you plug your phone into the computer via USB (make sure you have downloaded the drivers) click and drag the ROM file to your SD card folder.....The google apps download was harder to find. Its called gapps-passion-ERE36B-2-signed......do the exact same thing wi this app as you did with the ROM.....Now, first flash the Rom and reboot.....Then, flash the google apps file and reboot YOUR DONE.....Please note that you may have issues when loading the ROM and rebooting as i did. My phone got stuck on the boot screen over and over again. Just wipe/ restore and do the process again until it works. try it without wiping and resotring a few time first tho.
