First of all I am very new on this forum (less than an hour :) ) so I apologize if my question has been asked/answered before (at least the search didn't show up any related thread). Anyway, here my questions:

I am at United State and going to get Galaxy SII from Sprint. As I checked, GSII has some problems for reading other languages. I even downloaded and installed language packages but didn't work. I checked same website on Samsung Galaxy Nexus or HTC which have Android 4 and there was no issue. So I guess the problem for reading the unicode for other languages related to Android 2.3. Also, Galaxy S3 just released in Europe which has Android 4. So

1) Should I wait for GS3 instead of GS2? if yes, how long?

2) maybe the better solution is getting GS2 and upgrading it to Android 4. So is it possible? I don't want to face bugs at beginning.

3) I also found this Samsung releases Galaxy S II Android 4.0 source Code as well as Android 4 FB09

Should I wait for releasing GS2 Android 4 espsifcly for Epic 4G Touch or FB09 work?

I think I might wait for the S3 and look into that. The S3 will be better than the S2 and I do believe the S2 will be getting the ICs update, but the Galaxy S3 will have much better hardware specs and software as well. Sometimes with OS updates, there will be a few bugs and I have read that doing a hard reset usually fixes these strange bugs after the update. The galaxy S2 is a great device, but I would maybe wait for the S3 and see what it has to offer. :)

The gs3 wont be available in usa for months

According to Samsungs IT development president the S3 will begin to launch end of May with a slated US release in the weeks after.

I would just wait till the S4 comes out. Samsung doesn't seem to give a damn. They're not even letting their devices go a year before announcing the next device. Hell, carriers aren't even following support for their current devices following the failure to bring ICS withing the first quarter of the year as promised. We're halfway thru the year almost and still nothing.

You know what, eff it all, just wait a bit for the S5!!!!

The only two reasons I want the gs3 is because of LTE and the fact the front camera can to HD record. I am fully happy with my gs2 without ice cream. I believe it be better with ice cream but gs2 still rocks.

Isn't gs2 LTE-support? I know it is 4G-support. I guess LTE wont come until next year since we dont have 4G everywhere now!
