Help Slide to unlock

After i upgraded my Galaxy S2 to Android 4.0.3 my lock screen shows me a "Slide with your finger on the screen to unlock" text on the lock screen. Is there any way to remove that ?

Well if you what you old lock type back, its not going to happen easily. Now you are stuck with it, and only way to get difrent lock type is to instal custom rom, or use other locker programs, like GO locker (search in google store)

I love this new lock method. I just want that text to dissapear

I am pretty sure you cannot do that without custom rom.

Maybe you could search for other screen locker on Google Play. Not using ICS so not very sure how that works. But on GB I use Go Locker and they have different locker themes that you can use.

And Don't need root.

Try WIDGET LOCKER on the market/play. Many different Unlock options and fully configurable.

I've brought my diary appointments and wifi on/off toggle outside the lock so I can see them without having to unlock, but you can put any of your widgets on the lock screen.
