I would LOVE to see MIUI ported over. I loved all their small apps they had built in that you could backup the settings for. i.e. blocked calls, alarms, anything dealing with MIUI could be backed up. I love that operating system and never had any issues on My evo and my thunderbolt. And all my setting transferred from phone to phone. I asked on XDA if anyone could port it over to our phones, but have yet to receive a response.

Aosp of GB or cm9.

Unless those cm9 devs are replacing the kernel, the rom wont work, so I hope they realize that. ICS doesn't work with most stock kernels.

actually the stock GB kernel can work... will need work arounds on the software side to makes things work tho. Or backport a few things from the 3.0 kernel to the GB kernel. Mt's Blitzkrieg kernel would be a good base for that.

The touchscreen driver will need edited as well and depending on the dev's skill the 3.0 adreno src added to the kernel and depending on how LG has all their crap in the src. And of course the ics adreno libs are available from many places now

Now when the ICS OTA drops along with its src then you all can jump on a true ICS kernel.

I personally wouldnt bother with the leaked one at this time.

I have been in contact with Savoxis, and he is going to make a "Velocityesque" ICS ROM for us! The other surprise we have in store in a different recovery...AmonRa built by GetItNowMarketing. I will post a link later tonight for those of you who are curious.

Now here's the catch, we need to get Savoxis a Spectrum. I know the community has been really generous thus far in getting dev's a device, so hopefully WE can make it work again! I got the first $20.Expect a response from Savoxis shortly. thank you guys

Indeed. Since my Nexus has more developer attention paid to it than the only girl at a nude beach. I have been yearning for something to work on. Admn81 contacted me a while ago and yes, I am interested in mixing together a working ICS rom for you guys. Doesn't look like AOSP is a go until we get more source from LG but hey, the specs of the Spectrum demand ICS. I have already gotten a hold of some of my buddies to work on getting a more stable recovery.

Unfortunately I do not own a Spectrum which makes it next to impossible to do anything other than scripting and theming. If we can get a few people to pitch in a few dollars I am sure we can be there in no time. I have made a ChipIn account to track this fundraiser so I can get a used one off eBay or AF

I actually have an extra one I've been trying to sell on Ebay. I just listed it at $285. If that amount is raised I can ship it to the developer. It's brand new essentially. It was connected for one day then disconnected and factory reset.

I just wanted to throw this or there for you guys...not sure if you read it but on velocity you were able to change anything from the boot image to the font and updates within the rom itself via savoxis server...that was favorite my favorite aspect of it. this feature is also going to be incorporated in our rom! thanks to all of you that have or will donate to this project as it'll be so worth it when it's done
