Root N7 crashed hard

Settings just hangs and comes up with fc message, if i select reboot recovery it hangs, if i select power off it hangs. It won't sign into Google, i can hard reset it by holding power, but that does nothing but reboot with the same issues, i can get into fast boot but selecting recovery does nothing but hang and i can power it off from fb with no problems, but when i power it on again it hangs on the Google screen and only holding power until it reboots will load the OS.

Yea, the NRK is so straight forward. Very well put together.

I just bought my n7 32gb last night and had a similar experience with it as you Vincent..the tool kit went fine..unlock..root..twrp recov..used goo to update twrp to 2.3.1.0..flashed paranoid then bricked kernel and that where the fun part begin..booted out of recov after flashing bricked and was stuck on Google splash..tried booting back into recov but it would not..stayed stuck on Google splash...so after a while of rebooting and plugging into PC it seemed like somehow the recovery had been corrupted so I used the toolkit to push twrp 2.2.2.0 I believe to the tab..that didn't seem to work either, stayed stuck on Google splash..finally out of no where on a random try it boots in to recovery and I flashed my backup..then reflashed paranoid and this time faux's kernel..it booted fine but it would hang on setting menu ..reboot menu..wouldn't always boot into recovery from fast boot..just overall weirdness..so I started all over again this morning from scratch and flashed aokp with lean kernel..pushed twrp recov from toolkit again..did not update..everything seems to be working fine now..not sure if the kernel is what jacked things up or then updated recovery..I believe I have the older boot loader..3.34..I read of ppl having trouble with the newer boot loader..anyone know what could have caused this? and had me up till 4am working:D..thank god I'm no stranger to adb and the experience I have had with HTC phones..so I knew I was okay as along as I could get into fastboot:)

edit...okay so I think I tracked the problem back down to faux's kernel..fresh flashed pa2.54..set everything back up..made a nandroid..flashed fauxs 's kernel..same deal as previous night..menus..settings..reboot power menu all lock up..CPU apps freeze when trying to adjust frequency and governors..tab will not boot into recovery from fast boot..stays stuck at Google splash..also will not always boot into android .. eventually the tab will boot into recovery like its supposed too and let you restore a backup..flashed imoseyon's lean kernel..all works fine..briefly skimmed through faux's kernel page but didn't see much mention of the issue. may just be my CPU doesn't like that kernel
