According to this, it's universal...

It will work if you're fully stock. Stock Recovery, ROM, etc...

It will fail if you use a stock ROM that HTC has patched this fix for.

Judging how HTC has been updating software lately, it may or may not work.

It doesn't LOOK like it will brick anything, but as always, use at your own risk.

doesn't work anymore as of 12/25/2012 on my EVO Slider, they patched it i guess. wish there was a .APK root app like they have for the LG optimums Elite...
