Nooo! take the poweron out of the zip and place it in system/ect... And the bootani in system/media without the poweron.... Done reboot....

But it is a boot animation, it's put together properly, you just need to extract the sound file and place it in the right location

I have not tried his bootani but I made my own two weeks ago and wanted sound. So I simply did the same with another .wav but it's not working...

I just installed this bootanimation pretty cool!! I dunno about the sound i didnt really hear anything whats it supposed to be??? Thanks to ovniufo for the post Love it!!

This one works with cm7 too. All of our custom ROMs support custom bootanimations. But the sound might not work as is. I have been doing a little reading about the changes that have to be made to 'manually' enable boot sound on cm7.

The only info I have found is this:
