It never froze for me, I could always clear it, but couldn't install dsf. I'm going to try this fix asap though!

Yes, but I didn't try it alone. I flashed the matrix kernel 1.1 too.
Ok. Dsf successfully booted up, went back to recovery to install matrix kernel and factory reset + dalvik wipe. Rebooted and got passed boot screen but froze and restarted it self again.
Since I updated to 0.5, my camera freezes when I open it. May force close from time to time, but it hangs until it feels like being touch responsive (til the zoom slider pops up and then it will allow me to take a picture)
So I finally ran into an issue. I found myself not being able to wipe cache or dalvik cache. My latest Build of DSF would not install and the system would hang at the boot image. The issue was that my recovery had somehow become corrupted. I was able to fix the problem, and I hope this and the latest build of DSF helps to get those who had issues up and running.
First I flashed the stock nandroid posted by Golono found here:
http://androidforums.com/force-4g-lte-all-things-root/742117-working-stock-nandroid-backup.html
Second I restored the stock recovery provided by Sonicbluemustang found here:
http://androidforums.com/force-4g-lte-all-things-root/743724-recovery-stock-recovery.html
Third I installed CWM provided by 1mouse3 found here

And lastly I installed DroidSmith 0.6 Beta which can be found in the op of this thread.
If this helped you please be sure to thank the individuals mentioned above.
This worked out for me. DroidSmith 0.6 is running smoothly, thanks for the help! I haven't tried installing Matrix kernel yet. I will give it a shot tomorrow.

I have that problem on stock so it's not DS
Word. I don't like the camera at all on this phone. 90% of the time the pictures come out blurry.
I plan to replace it with the aosp version, but that's a little ways down the line. I'm going to take a break from my kernel work for a while, and set us up with notification toggles on droidsmith
Built in notification toggles, without a third party app?
And for the love of Jeebus, can you make it so that we can choose which icons are up there, and not just pre-selected ones? I hated phones that I bought that had pre-selected icons, and it annoyed me, cause I can use wifi from the notification, and then have to go find the GPS in settings somewhere else. lol.
It will either be quickpanel or I may port over the toggles from the avid. Either way I will have Wi-Fi GPS and Bluetooth up there.

Would it also be possible to replace the ugly boost lock screen with the stock one? I would very much appreciate it
