Sigh. I factory reset my phone, re-rooted, and did the mod again. But I am still getting the insufficient storage available error message. I have about 300MB free and I'm just trying to update little bit apps like YouTube, so I'm not sure why I can't update them with 300MB left (but that is a separate question from why the mod won't work for me because I would get this error message even when I didn't have the mod). I think I did everything right and the files are duplicating, because when I open up the gallery app I see two sets of photo albums for everything.

I have not tried this myself.
But reading post #31 "The apps itself gets stored to the phone memory no matter what."
This sounds to me the only advantage is for people wanting games with large data files.
Since I have a tablet, I'll just continue to do it my messy way to get large data files onto my phone that are too large to download.

I've downloaded games on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Used TiB to backup the app.
Copy the TiB files to folder on phone and data to the ExtSD of your F3. I believe you will have to make an empty folder in the internal storage of the F3 so it can link.
Restore the app using TiB.
Use GL to SD your game should show up there. Start game and enjoy.
Don't forget that you can also get more space by using Link2SD for the restored app as well.

Well the fix got rid of the duplicate files...but unfortunately for me overall the mod still won't work. (E.g. I have "130MB" app space remaining and it won't let me install Facebook or any other app that is <30MB).

It is more than likely working. As pointed out by the OP this will only store the app data on the sd card not the actual app. Seems any Android phone i have used around the 100MB mark is when the phones starts throwing low storage space messages and will not let you download another app.

i wish it didn't let you download.. Ive downloaded apps and the find out that it couldn't be installed due to low space...

This is true. I did try to download a game and it wouldn't because it stated something along the lines of "do not have enough space on external sd card for extra data" . Which it was actually referring to the internal sd card, because that's how i guess the F3 handles it.
