That's what Android Forums is all about. It's about people helping one another in their time of need, or just having a friendly chat. Even though AF is pretty laid back, just about everyone follows the rules here, so that's a win-win for both members and staff.

Therefore, I've been on these forums longer than anywhere else, and I plan to remain here for many years more.

Its the members that make this place so great. With out you there would be no forum. We strive to have a fun clean family atmosphere and you all make that happen. Being on staff has taught me just how important your job is. As a member of the Best Android Forum in the World we have maintained a maturity level that rivals all else. You the member make that happen. Me the member makes that happen. This is my internet home and just like my real home I keep it clean and bug free (bugs in this case is spam) I stayed here because of members like you who opened up and was willing to help.

I wholeheartedly share your feelings. Earlier this year I went through a really hard time (my mom died), and I just can't say enough about how supportive and caring fellow AF members were. They listened patiently and offered comfort and support, and advice from their own personal experiences of losing loved ones, and it was such an oasis for me. I love this place. And I'm glad to see you do, too.

As our resident frog (Argedion) said, it's the members who make this the place it is. :thumb:

I've felt the same way since joining this forum. The qualify of information is fantastic, and it's definitely one of the friendlier forums I've been on.

Yes that's true and one of the major problems I've found on other forums is that the "being civil" part goes out the window. Sometimes people treat disagreements as if they are a life or death matter!

Respectfully... that's what it's all about. There will always be a different view for no two people are alike. Some respect for another's view makes all the difference. We, here at AF, pull that respect out of the reply bag with most every post. That's what makes you the member special and these forums enjoyable.

I've tried 'hanging out' at 'real' social sites and it's like trying to simultaneously keep track of all the conversations at Union Station. This one is very comfortable; mostly about droids but with plenty of other topics... like this.

The apple stuff was given to me to test out..

Hubby works in techy tech.. he had a Blackberry then a Windows phone and I just convinced him to get an android and he loves it!

think his tablet and laptop are google...I know they are not apple..
