Help Samsung Keyboard

I use the stock Samsung Keyboard on my note 3.

I use Google hangouts to Chat and for text messaging.

My Question is> How come a i don't have a tab/enter key on my stock keyboard that i can use to space out my sentences when texting or hangout chats?

I have one hand operation enabled. I don't know that , that would have anything to do with not having the tab/enter key.

**Another thing. Which do yall prefer Swiftkey or the stock keyboard?
I used swiftkey on my S3 and never did DL it for my Note 3.

Any pro's and Cons ? swiftkey vs stock keyboard?

I did download the hackers keyboard and use it for a few days.

Maybe I didn't give it enough time but I couldn't really catch on to it . when I would type then hit space and continue typing and never look at my words. When I finally did look at what I typed it would look like this

I use swift key and downloaded the swift key beta version which also gives you the numbers above the letters just like the stock keyboard. The stock keyboard just annoyed me to no end with misspellings and wrong predictions. swift key is just a better experience.

I found this keyboard which I believe covers both ends of the environment.
You can SWIPE with it or just type and the predictive part of word guessing is really good.
A really nice feature is that it will allow you to set it up so that it 'Splits' the 'Space Bar' so that you can tell it to keep the word as you have spelled it or do the 'Space' and allow it to use the word that it has suggested.
Really about the best keyboard that I've seen.
BTW, there is a 'Tablet' as well as a 'Cell' version so that you can have better space settings for the larger devices.

I have been using the stock Samsung keyboard, and liked it pretty well.

I mainly like that their was a dedicated row for the numbers and I didn't have to long press to get them. It seems really smooth in swype mode, as well, with the following exception.It drives me nuts to have to long press for punctuation, and I don't like having to hit some other button to get out of punctuation after I choose something if I use the 'box' selection method they have. Maybe I am missing something.

In the meantime, i have reverted back to Swiftkey, for a while, to see if I like it any better.

I'm the same when it comes to numbers and punctuation. It drives me nuts to. I myself have went back to swift key!

I think keyboard choices depend on what you've used in the past. I kinda like the Samsung keyboard, but I've used Swype since it was a beta on my OG Droid and no matter how many others I try (and I do give them a fair chance) I always end up going back to Swype.

I liked the Samsung keyboard also. I just could not find the enter key. Everything ran together and I could not space out My sentences in emails or texts.

Both that and what you're doing. For normal phone-type typing I use the Sammy keyboard that came with the Note 3. But if I'm doing programming, I need the arrow keys, the tab key, etc., so Programmer's Keyboard. It would be too much to use for typing in a text or adding a contact.

Of course, when I'm really melting plastic, I have a keyboard modeled on the old clickety-clack IBM keyboards of yesteryear. I'm not developing a 10 page website on a little glass keyboard, but sometimes I work when I'm forced to sit and do nothing. (At my age, doctors' offices are places one frequents frequently.) So if I did half a page on the phone, when I get home I pop the big keyboard and OTG cable onto the phone and continue working. (Why don't I copy the work to the computer? Because then I have to remember to put it back on the phone so I can work on it the next time I''m out. And memory is the second thing to go.)

Which keyboard did you use? Swiftkey? I am interested in trying a new keyboard myself. I like the number above. but the predictive text is horrible for me. I turn it off.. but then I have to many misspellings. want something better.
