Full touch screen Androids?

I appologize in advance if this has been discussed- I have tried searching but come up with an error each time.

Are there any Android phones on the market now, or coming soon that will be full touch screen, without the slide out keyboard? The Motorola Droid looks awesome, but I won't bite on it because of the slide out keyboard.

I have seen the HTC Hero (with trackball, that I'm not a big fan of) on the Sprint network but nobody can give me any info on it. I have also seen the potential of a Motorola Sholes Tablet, which to me sounds like a full touch screen smart phone, without the physical slide out keyboard (If its even released)? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Currently, I am using the original BlackBerry Storm and I have nothing nice to say about it. NUMEROUS phones later, I still can't get one that works as advertised. I need out of it right away, thats why I'm looking at the Android phones. (I have looked at the Apple iPhone 3GS, which in concept looks great, but has a lot of flaws...)

Thanks for the info. I will definatley research both of those.

Has anyone hard any banter of Motorola releasing a full touch screen Android? (no physical keyboard that slides out?)

The droid tablet is the only motorola one I've heard of, although they say Motorola is releasing up to 10 android phones in the next year, so some are sure to be both with and without keyboard.

Do a search for Sony Ericsson Xperia X3. That is supposed to be announced next month and release in the Jan/Feb 2010 timeframe. No slider on it and it looks sweet!

I certainly hope that someone puts a full touch screen Android out soon! I've had it with my Blackberry and need to get a different phone. I'll check out the Xperia and see what I can find out. Hopefully Motorola will put out the tablet- the specs make it sound like an awesome phone!

Thanks!
