That's pretty exciting. Who would ever think that a sun screen ingredient would be a charging vehicle? Charging faster will be great... now if they can work on the discharge side of the equation.

Wouldn't that negate bigger batteries? I would think most people wouldn't complain if they could only use a device for 6-8 hours non stop and for it to only take 3 1/2 mind to recharge. I wouldn't complain.

I agree. I wonder how fast it would recharge with one of those portable bump chargers? I could take a few minutes out of mid day to gain many additional hours. The article advocated it was a couple of years before release. I'm ready for the technology now.

They said that we could see this within two years.

I just hope it doesn't get forgotten like all of the other promises year after year.

I also hope that it really works. Many of these breakthroughs are only good at the microscopic scale of batteries, not life-size ones. The researchers are talking about car batteries with this deal. Talk is cheap. Hope this is real.
