We haven't experienced this yet on any device on DU, but thanks for letting me know. That's probably an issue with the Messaging application in itself. However, as you well know - Hangouts SMS is a different application altogether. Personally, I like using Hangouts for just online chatting and Messaging for my SMS/MMS purposes. I'll try to pay more attention to this as time goes on.

In other news, how's everyone loving all of the kernel goodies? :)

Whatever you do to the colours is AMAZING! Your kernel always gives me the BEST colour on my nexus 5.

I'm assuming it's a rom feature rather than kernel but I LOVE having ambient display. Picking up the phone doesn't always engage it but having the screen light up a bit when I get a notification is very cool.

Another test build and a new TBOGapps (sorry Josh ;) )too! A blacked out multi-dpi play store! (Not that can change dpi yet). I'm sooooo happy. :D
Hey hook, you actually can change the DPI. I haven't flashed the test build yet but one of the first things I did after upgrading to the L factory images was change the DPI in the build.prop.

/system/build.prop

Edit the following line from 480 to 420:
ro.sf.lcd_density=420

All that the built in DPI editor did in the kk version was provide a simple interface to edit this value. But you can still edit it manually.

You're right, but I was going to hold off so I didn't have to do the edit everytime I flashed. ;) Caught me being lazy (well, actually I have a lot of IRL distractions right now and am trying to keep things simple).

EDIT: Aw, heck. I did it. Sweet! :D

is there a link to the g+ page? Also your poll doent offer a carrier who offers both as my carrier does (Straight Talk) I have had both a cdma phone with them and a gsm.

The DU Google+ page can be found in the OP or here - http://goo.gl/z7tfDd
You need to join the DU Google+ also.

I believe the CDMA part of the poll is geared more towards those users that are on Sprint or a Sprint MVNO (which Straight Talk can run on, not sure if your through a Sprint provider) and Sprint opened the TRI-Band network so it was to determine if the "Sprint menu" needed to be added into the build and I think Sprint also needs or requires a special set of "blobs" for SMS/MMS to work properly. (especially on 5.0+, I believe)
I'm sure Josh or someone else using Sprint/MVNO can shed a little mor light on the subject.

Anyone else on the test builds having the same issues as me?

-Google sound search crashes every time I try to use it

-When using text percentage for the battery there is no battery icon when the phone is locked

I think that's it for now, just curious if they are kinks still being worked out or just something that's happening to me.

No I haven't had an issue with either the Google sound search or not having the battery icon on the lock screen.
The only issue I had was with the status bar tweaks dissapeared when I changed my navigation bar icons with the "5.0 Candy Shop" Then the OP updated the edify script for 5.0.2+ and everything has worked fine after that. So if you've used the Candy Shop or anything like that?

then it might cancel out the status bar tweaks.

Nah, no candy shop but I have been dirty flashing so maybe I should try clean and see if it helps.

The blobs are only needed to give Sprint users the ability to update their profile/PRL. That doesn't affect how SMS/MMS is or are sent. That is purely reliant on APN settings, which it seems as if CDMA carriers is currently bugged out for the AOSP Messaging application. The fix for it is known and documented, but unfortunately it is reliant on CAF, which I will not even consider implementing to a Nexus device.

Well I have officially went back to kit kat I hate lollipop and this inbox that I have to get an invite to so I can get my mail. What a crock of crap. I am just about done with all this crap.
I don't completely disagree with you about KitKat vs Lollipop, though I like DU Lollipop much better than stock. However, I don't understand why you need Inbox. Doesn't Gmail still work without it? (I use Aquamail, so both Gmail and Inbox are irrelevant to me and I ignore both and have never requested an invite). ;)
