Help How do I enable DROID.OGG for notifications?

That's odd. My Phone recognizes that path. I have my ringtones, alarms, notifications all in the media/audio path. Try out Zedge. It is a ringtone app in the marketplace. Just search "Droid" and you'll find it. That's how I got the Droid notification.

I think you misread my reply ;), It works fine now (I had the Droid .OGG file) AFTER I created the path & put the file in it. My stock ringtone files are in the ringtone directory in the root of the SD card. I still can't find where the stock notifications are though...

I wonder if putting the SD card from my "old" MotoDroid right in without formatting it has anything to do with it...

Both stock ringtones and notifications are on internal memory of phone not the 8gb of internal storage. If you open astro and navigate "up" you'll get to the root of your phone's internal (not root of sd or root of internal storage) there you will see folders. Go to system>media>audio> in here you will find alarm, notification, ringtones and ui sounds that came factory installed. Once we have root all these files will be able to be altered. Right now you should be able to copy files off your internal and transfer them to your sd but not modify them in there current directory as it will not allow write access. Same thing with apps internally they are in system>app. HTH.
