I have read several issues of this, and have not seen but possibly one fix. Hoping you all can help. About 3 months ago, I received an update, and since, my phone will not go into 4G at all. I can be in the dead center of town, or right next to the tower, and no 4G. I guess it is a common problem, because there was a bunch of complaints. Here is what I have done so far:

-Factory reset.
-New SIM card. (3 actually with no fix)
-Setting to 3G/LTE only.
-Setting to LTE only next to tower (signal indicator had 0 bars and an x.)
-Called Verizon and Samsung, and supposedly a help ticket was made, but have heard nothing.

That said, the one possible fix, is to go to sammobile.com, and download 4.4.4 and revert back to it, as the problem seems to have been a Lollipop issue. Question is, should I do this, or just wait until we get Marshmallow? The common response was to get a new phone, but I have seen some do this and it not help. This phone is only about 5 months old, out of the box, and hate to send it back for a refurbished phone. Any thoughts?

Sorry but downgrading from Verizon's latest Lollipop firmwares back to Android 4.4.4 is not possible, as explained in post #61 of
Verizon downgrade to KitKat - Dummies Guide

I would suggest downloading your Verizon, Lollipop, firmware and flashing it to your phone after first doing a Full Wipe+Factory Data Reset, as per #2.3, #2.4, #2.5 and #2.7 of S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide

Well, I guess it is doomed, because I did this and nothing has changed, except I lost everything I had on the phone and have to start back over. Thanks for explaining, and I hoped it would have helped, but I guess I am stuck on 3G.
