I've always thought that sort of funny because they vaporized Cassini in Saturn's atmosphere so it wouldn't contaminate the moons...

I think that Huygens did such a good survey that the EU decided that earth type bacteria wouldn't live there.

So my wife is finally fed up (enough) with ATT and her Samsung Note Edge to want to ditch and join me on Fi. With the advent of the Moto X4 being the first Android One phone in the US and being compatible with Fi I am considering getting the new X4 for myself and letting my beloved have the Pixel. My thinking is ... with the purchase of the HTC Pixel team by Google I would bet the Pixel 3 will be worth the wait. This would be an incredibly cheap option for getting both of us on Fi and I bet I'd be fine with the new X4 what with my history with Moto. I am hesitant to trade in my N6 but ... $100 bucks off + the $50 Fi credit is tempting - would REALLY make it an affordable option.

So to my friends in the forum ... thoughts?

1) wait a while and see how the new phone is working with Fi. I do love a new phone but it's bound to have issues, let them get ironed out first.
2) keep the N6 for a bit, or, how much could you sell it for?
or
3) jump right in and go for it!
(personally, I'd do 1 & 2)

The local market for the N6 is not very .... hot, I'd say 75-100 is about all I'd get local and I do so hate listing on Ebay.

The trade in offer changes after Oct 5th. Drops the $50 Fi credit I believe.

So if I wait it nullifies one of the reasons I'd do it, but I see your point.

(I'd be more worried if Moto hadn't already produced a Nexus ... I assume they still know their way around a Google phone)

Ah, I hadn't read the offer so didn't know details. So, that may just put you right to 3!!

I've always liked and never really had issues with Moto phones, it's really all I get. What does bug me is the lack of updates (on Verizon) but that shouldn't be an issue on Fi. So yeah, order one! :p

I've wanted a moto x on Fi from the beginning, kinda sad this one won't have moto actions and all that jazz, I do miss the nice Moto apps the original X introduced to my life.

Only thing holding me back today is waiting to see how much the LG V30 is, I really like that phone and it might be worth it to me to get it and run on Fi only using Tmo. If I have to wait too much longer for confirmation of price, I will most likely jump on this.

THANKS!

Cheapo military style jacket with Bible quotations on TaoBao...I'd preferred it to have things like Psalm 137:4 "How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?" or Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
