Did you try long pressing the device to see if options come up?

Or is there a three dot menu somewhere along the top?

I have so much trouble with Samsung, because they just have to be 'different'.
Just very troublesome.

I can just touch the settings wheel next to any of the paired devices, and a 'forget' option appears.

I actually have Note 4 , changes I made in BuildProps is why it desplays at a Note 5.
I would have assisted a higher OS would have the same or even more options, at least it should.

You would think so.

Unfortunately, I have found that with every OS 'update', there generally seems to be less options for adjustment, and the ones that remain are harder to find.

Case in point is how up through Android 7 there was a built in cache cleaner.
This was discontinued in Android 8.

After Android 6 or so, most 'cleaning apps don't work as well as they did on previous OS.

To get into individual app settings on an 8, there are extra steps compaired to previous OS.
(I have since been using KISS launcher, which solves this for the most part.)

It sure would be nice if there was a way for the user to decide what and which setting adjustments would be available and active.
Of course, I mean all settings, including those that are hidden behind 'Developer's Options' and 'System UI Tuner'.
My guess is that there are even more 'hidden' settings that I haven't stumbled across yet.

It annoys me that there must be millions of people whose user experience has been reduced due to not knowing of these 'hidden' settings, and now there might be even less of them with each additional OS change.

We definitely see eye to eye, I totally agree with what your saying. Im not familiar with the higher versions but what you mention has been constant with udated levei of the Android os (api's). Just a small example. YThw First is set to off.

the second is displayed by taping 3 dot s top right.

Tap advanced and the third screen. If compare the 1st screen shot with the 3rd screen shot dothis seem contradictory?

If I add a hypothetical rebuttal such as "this is basic" . My response, yes it is. However, consider we are all memberes of "Android" Fotoms. Well of couse its basic to use members of AF. but not necessarily to much of the general population.

Oops I'll edit extra svreen shots. My intention was just 3 imgs

Why can't i connect my note 9 to any bluetooth devices, every time i try it says the name will show when it's connected but it never connect..... so now my bluetooth headphones are pretty much useless

Did you find a solution for your bluethooth issues?
