Help My Rooted Droid Wont Sync with PC

I paid a guy on craigslist to root my droid (i tried to do it myself and failed, so i paid him to figure it all out).

Unfortunately, I am having some issues now and don't have his contact info.

Issues I'm having:

1) Droid is unable to sync with my PC. When I plug the droid into my computer via USB it asks me to enter a CD for software. Obviously I have no CD. So I can't mount my droid (can't pull pics or other files off it). And it wont sync up my calendar events. Very annoying.

2) My Droid wont connect to the WiFi in my appartment. It sees it, but wont connect to it.

Is there a set of droid rooted drivers that I can download to help me out?

Thanks,
Ben

i cannot solve all your problems, but i know this. your SD card has to be mounted to save files to it.

1) go to settings>applications>development>turn off USB debugging
2) plug in USB cable
3) mount SD card; your computer will assign it a drive letter.

at this point you may still be unable to transfer files to it, but are really close...

depending on how you do things, at the top of the home screen will be a grey bar with a usb symbol on the left. swipe that bar downward, and it will show notifications.

it should say USB connected. select to copy files to/from your computer.

4) tap on that and a new screen will appear saying USB connected, and you have to choose MOUNT

that should not only give you a drive letter on your computer for the SD card, but also give you full access to it, as if it were a hard drive.

Sorry for bringing this thread back but I need help...

I have droid 2 that I bought about a month ago. It was syncing up fine with my laptop. The usb shows up on my phone everytime I plug the usb plug in. Today however, is different story. When I plugged the usb on my phone, my pc doesnt show my phone nor the phone is showing any usb sign on the top.

I went to Verizon dealer and they had plugged it on their PC and it read it (they also updated my software).

I went home and plugged it again and still no recognition. I then plugged it on my other pc and another pc and still no recognition. I'm guessing they have (verizon) some sort of updated usb drive software on their pc. If this is the case, do you guys know the link? If not, any of you guys know what is going on?

Thank you.
