Accessories Free full body Stealth Guard protector (shipping around $3)

got mine today lol comes inside the printed order form no instructions...you cant even tell whats what..

That's the same way a couple of other companies do it. In an envelope. Nothing wrong with that. Its how they keep cost down. The instructions or on their site , again just like others do.

The questions should be how does it work and look on the phone not how they ship it.

Just "installed" mine after receiving it this weekend. Like others have said...pretty much garbage. No protection for the sides and the ill fit on my X, makes this greatly detract from the phone. The piece that surrounds the microphone (below the keys) is too long. The battery door piece is too wide. Also, as others have said...its a PITA to get the pieces off the sheet. Oh and FYI, if you are planning to use this as a secondary layer of protection...it won't work with the Rocketfish snap on case.

Where do you see that they send 2? I can't find that on the site. I know Phantom Skinz sends 2, and I paid $7 for that. Now I have two spares, plus coverage for the back (not sure if I will use that since I have a silicone case on it, but good to have)

What is it

Under "Easy Installation", about midway down the page.:D

Ha ha...they changed it, no longer says they send two

just got mine and installed, i used a very mild soap for the solution. the screen protector is crap. i have installed other protectors before and generally they come out ok, but this one just doesnt look right. there are still water/glue marks underneath the protector. i was pretty quick and got the protector on in one motion and didnt run into any problems during install but the screen looks pretty bad. i will let it dry overnight and see if it gets any better. but right now my advice would be not to waste even the 2.85 they ask for in shipping charges.

Seriously what did you people expect for $3.00? Hand delivery with a 60 minute install video on DVD with 20 pages of written instructions, including pictures, all wrapped up in a nice box with a ribbon?

Maybe its me but I think some of you are unbelievably picky

Maybe its me but I expect something i dont have to cut out with a sharp knife for a half hour cause its not cut right...that iam going to stretch out so it wont fit...that i can at least get it on to try it....so ya i guess i do expect to much

well I got mine last night and I never planned on using the whole thing just the screen protector. I installed it in 2 minutes. It looks and feels just like the BestSkinEver I had on it. It actually looked a little thinner but that could be my imagination. Anyway it went on fine and looks fine (for a first day apply) it still has bubble but those things go away in a few days.

It you can still see the glue you may need to peel it off and reapply it in a few days but give it time first. My BS looked good also until I was in the sun and then you could see the adhesive but peeling it off and re wetting it took care of that. (except for the cat hair that got under it, f'ing cats) I suspect you can do the same with this skin if need be.

so for the screen Its as good and act just like any other skin of this type that I have tried.

Now the back doesn't look like the complete detailed skin it more like the easy apply version Zagg sales which doesn't cover the sides. (they have two full body types)

It did seem a little under cut but I had no problem just pulling it off. I could be a problem with the back though.

My conclusion is it makes a fine 3.00 screen protector but if you looking for a complete body cover including the sides you may be disappointed.

thanks pillman i did apply but wetting the areas and the screen protector glue is almost visibly gone except when viewing in sunlight and good indoor lighting. I am really not happy with the product but for 3 dollars I can't complain that much. Other things that are not good about it is the lines running vertically. The protector seems to have this grain of lines running vertical and when screen is off and you hold at an angle against the light u see it. not a huge deal but definitely cheapens up the look of the screen. The naked glass screen was beautiful to look at. I also noticed a slight desensitized feel to the touch screen and slight loss of accuracy when using the keyboard. I dont plan on keeping this protector, just use for the time being until i get something else.

Ok got mine and I was only planning to use the screen part because I got a Silicone cover. Was easy to take off the paper and I installed it in 10 minutes.

Now when I first installed it I just put it on my screen with no kind of solution. Saw glue and bubbles all over it. It was ugly and bad and made my screen look like shit. Left it on for about a day. Now the bubbles kinda went away but the glue was still there.

Now I read the comments on a few forums and was about to peel it off in throw it in the trash, but then I said let me try something different. I remember when I had my LG Dare I ordered a Inv sheild and the little bottle of solution that came with it. So I put a drop of Dawn and warm water in a bowl, took it off and dumped it in the water. Put it back on and to my surprise the bubbles and the glue was almost gone. Took it off again and dunked it and reapplyed and no more glue and bubbles. Now when the screen is off I dont see the bubbles or glue but when its on its still a little grainy. That might be the water underneath and will clear up in time but it looks 100% better.

Gonna let it sit tonite and see how it looks in the morning. If it looks good then $3 not wasted, if it look bad then its going in the trash.

I have to say I like the screen naked the best. Every skin I ever had distorted one way or another o rlooked bad in sunlight or held at strange angles. You get none of that without a protector.

Check this out. You probably won't understand it but they are testing the Gorilla glass and it makes me think I don't need a protector unless I use a razor knife around my phone.

1. What's wrong with the one posted?
2. You can also find many other doing the same.
3. I could care less if you do or don't go with out a protector:eek:

On a side note my skin is looking much better after two days.

Come on, did you really think I wanted you to use your $500 X to test. Nope but you did get a little upset there and you do care what people do with their phones because you have over 1000 post and thanked almost 70 times. I should have put a smiley or LOL so you knew I was joking. :D

Back to topic, my Stealth Guard protector looks real good almost perfect on my screen. Most of the flaws are gone and no bubbles or glue are present. Still a couple of small spots of water but most of it is gone and in a couple of days they will vanish. Looks and feels like its not even there.

Well worth the $3 and when I get bored with my case then I might put the rest of it on and see how it fits.
