Rand Paul...

Gonna take this a piece at a time...

Here, you have absolutely the right idea. The entire concept of Congress passing laws that they themselves are immune from is one of the biggest problems in this country...

You know what, let's agree on that point and start with the people that make the decisions that decides the faith of the Citizens and the success or failure of the Nation.

Why won't they pass a bill that limits ALL Politicians to a 10 year term limit and as well limit the amount of $$$ used on campaigns. Level the playing field.

I sure hope that their are more people like you.

I have a small bone to pick with you based on the way you answered the Kenyan part. Are these people saying that the ENTIRE US Law enforcement system failed to check Obama out...the FBI, the CIA, The DOD, Homeland Security. Hell they investigate EVERY Senators because they have access to security info. The US Military investigated me because my brother who is in the US Military was getting a higher security clearance and he is just a peon compared to a Senator or PRESIDENT.The blatant stupidity that KEPT being perpetuated by REPUBLICAN LEADERS is astounding.

btw- Obama is NOT the leader of my country.

I live in Canada. I keep on eye on our Prime Minister Stephen Harper, he is a Commie Pinko Right Wing Conservative type:D
But I respect his leadership so far, he is doing s good job keeping Canada out of shit. The reporting is Canada was the least affected country from the US Banking Fiasco. It barely grazed us thanks in part by the Pinko Commies Right Wing Conservative Government past and present to HEAVILY REGULATE our Banking industry.:D

Do you guys believe that McCain and Palin would have done a better job or hell even equal job? A confluence of emergencies rocked the US before he was sworn in, those emergencies rocked the globe.

Here is progress, the DOW was down to 5000 when Bush left but now it is back up to 10,000-11,000. Something must be working...

The Friday before Obama's inauguration the Dow closed at 12,099 points, so I'm not sure what "progress" you're speaking of. The Dow actually got to it's lowest point (in well over 10 years) over a year after Obama took office, on Marth 9th 2009; it closed at 6,547 points.

I don't support Republicans. I don't support Democrats. They are two sides of the same coin, but if you're going to spew rhetoric, please do some fact checking.

uhm, so you want to blame the fireman that has to put out the INFERNO the other guy left behind???

Let me get this straight
Clinton left after 8 years with a surplus
Bush Left after 8 years with MASSIVE TRILLION $ debt and the Banks at near collapse with credit being frozen.

I am SMART enough to know that NEITHER REPUBLICAN or DEMOCRAT could have done a damn thing to save that inferno.

Your post makes no sense.
The incumbent took over a GLOBAL FINANCIAL COLLAPSE.
Please tell me what would you have done to magically fix it one day 1 if you were President or 6 months or 2 years later.

I would LOVE to learn how you would have solved this?

I was only responding to your inaccurate claim about the Dow.

Things are never that cut and dry. Presidents don't operate in a vacuum. Clinton had a Republican congress, Bush a Democratic one when he left office. The dot-com bubble burst in 2000 under Clinton's watch, etc.

The problem with Rand Paul and people like him is he makes a statement like his position about introducing a bill to replace an aspect of the civil rights legislation relating to who a private business, the owner should have the last say as to who they serve or do business with.On the surface this sounds like common sense, however the truth an the owner has always had the legal right to require anyone to leave their business other than due to race etc.,so what is his real issue?
Now I have no doubt he actually believes the garbage he spews, the problem is he's an educated man, smart enough to know even if he does waste tax payers $ introducing such a a bill,no politician in their right political mind are going to vote for such a bs bill, and Paul is smart enough to know that. He's just another phony jackwagon blowing a bunch of hot air to get elected.

Actually, Clinton had balanced the budget during his presidency. He did this through massive cuts to our military. At no point was America not in debt during his presidency. This produces the question: if our military budget wasn't cut could we have prevented 9/11.

All I'm saying is a) check your facts and b) actions have consequences.

No it does NOT produce the question. your correlation is just stupid.
Tell us how many TANKS/SHIPS/JET FIGHTERS/SMART MISSILES were going to stop some people.

The FACT is Richard Clark forwarded a CLEAR REPORT TITLED AL QADA IMMINENT ATTACK with some details but it was tucked into a drawer.

You really think another tank solves the problem.
Let's borrow your logic. You UNLEASHED the military on Afghanistan. You CREATED DOZENS OF NEW security and spy agencies. It's 9 years, WHERE IS Bin Laden????

No we are blaming Obama for the problems we aren't going to see until he's out of office. Right now his crimes are mostly limited to the lack of fixing problems that aren't happening while reading books to kindergarden kids.

WTF are you trying to say. Wow! Your deflector shield is damaged I think.

Let me help you with a piece of the puzzle that is ALWAYS LEFT OUT.
Clinton was working on the Israel and Palestinian PEACE treaty and solution. When BUSH took office and was asked if he would CONTINUE where Clinton left off he said NO "that is a REGIONAL" problem. How did that REGIONAL problem turn out?

YES he CAN oops I mean did:D

It amazes me to see how people blame the guy that before he was even sworn in muchless unpacked his toothbrush the Economy went over the cliff. You guys must really believe in FAIRY TALES because at that point NEITHER a Democrat or Republican would have waived a magic wand and fix the problem right away.

It's almost one of those things that the Republicans should have won and McCain and Palin be the leaders. It's one of those things where you say...well it can't can any worse...can it...lol

The EXTREME RIGHT is running the country and setting the tone.
It wont matter because at this level there is no way in hell this divide will be corrected. The Republicans and Tea Party people have found a new way to use FEAR therefore they will ALWAYS get the attention and drive the division so THEY can get ELECTED. The Democrats are wimps that just don't have the balls to go on tv and say STFU the country is ****ed and we are trying to fix it FOR ALL of us. I bet you that we will see the Government change EVERY 4 years and each side will become MORE entrenched and just keep saying NO to everything.

*sigh*

If you're going to discuss "who's responsible for 9/11", get your bloody facts straight (pardon the rather crass pun there).

The ultimate "cause" of 9/11 can be traced back to our failed foreign policy in Afghanistan. We spent much money over 9 years helping the Afghanis get their nation bombed into a pile of rubble. When the Soviets withdrew in '89, we basically told them "Too bad about the state of your country. See ya!". This left a power vacuum, as well as MUCH anti-American feeling...

Bush Sr failed there... Clinton COULD have stepped up, but didn't...

RIGHT!

I said that in a previous post. I believe Bin Laden even states that he did what he did in great part because the US did not keep their promise to the Afghan people and him (almost Bay of Pigs scenario).

Either way if people would listen they would hear that their foreign policy and lies created the perfect storm for those that were lied to to strike back.

Actually this started before Bush Sr. We were supplying the Tali ban ( mujahideen ) with weapons before Bush Sr. took office. It was Carter's way of dealing with communist Russia. Carter was the 1970's version of Obama....and we are still dealing with his messes. For that matter he's still trying to meddle in US foreign policy. This is exactly why people are voting in the republicans again....not because they are perfect but because you can't get much worse then Obama. But it's interesting how much of Carters problems are attributed to Bush Sr. It's interesting in that much of Clinton's problems are attributed to Bush Jr. I wonder what president is going to get blamed for Obamas problems?

I'm not sure you get to bloody criticize my facts here as your facts are the same as mine.
