That's a great little tool I try to use a good bit with apps to kill data and cash from within the application manager. Someday it'll be unnecesary one can hope, but good that it's there.

I use LPP and that is all I ever use. When I first installed 1.4.0 and then went to 1.4.1 my battery life was insanely long. I would be at 60-70% at night when I plugged back in. But the last week on 1.4.1 mine was getting really low by plug, usually around 40%. I restored back to 1.4.0 and that has seemed to help, but I still am not getting the long, long life I was getting when I first switched over to Apex 1.4.x

Is anyone else seeing the UID 1001 (Dialer) bug? The first time I place or receive a call (or even just open the dialer) after my phone boots up, UID 1001 has 100% sensor usage, and drains my battery faster than normal. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

You know what's funny, I saw this the other day on my phone when I was complaining about terrible battery life so I thought it was the awful Facebook application so I uninstalled that.

Glad to know it's actually the Dialer. Here's hoping we can fix this because I had/have this issue.

Just for reference, my UID has been running for 10 hours and 47 minutes.

Ok so i am a first time root user.. :eek:

I have had my droid X for over a year now. I did the leaked froyo when it came out and had to SBF back to stock to get OTA when it came out that kind of scared me so i never rooted. However I have been having problems with stock blur freezes reboots exc... So I decided to ROOT. just rooted today with no problems and installed APEX

This thing rocks!!! wow so fast...

I was familuar with LPP so this is my first time using Adw launcher .. Any way i want to use a APEX theme how do I get to the toolbox ?

Open a telnet session with terminal.
type su
then type apextoolbox
It will open up and then it will give you a menu.

I have been running Dark Side 4.2 for a few months. I have never run an Apex rom, but I have read alot of positive feedback. So I decided to give this rom a run two days ago. I have to say that I am enjoying this rom. It has been stable so far and it is fast. I just loaded this over my previous rom. I just wiped data and cache and it has been good.

Hi just installed the apex . I tried the previous build and like this one. Now I need to set it up. Love the email notification sound and keyboard. Question about settings - I set up my live email and get 2 notifications and also it keeps alerting me for unread emails how do I stop that? Minor issues this rom rocks!

I was using the Blur Gallery which seems to be the one I prefer. I recently noticed that I could only launch the gallery from the camera. If I opened it from the app drawer it would force close and go back to my home screen. To fix this I tried installing the AOSP Gallery from the toolbox and then reinstalling back to Blur. Now I'm stuck with no gallery at all. I have tried rebooting and reinstalling with no luck.

In "My Applications" Gallery is not showing up for me to clear data
In TiBu I have "Gallery" Backed up, but the restore option is grayed out

I can get to my pictures w/ Astro so I know they are there...

What other options can I try? I'm using the Blur Camera and I just want my Blur gallery back up and running.

Please Help,

Hello everyone, i have a n00b question... First off, my phone is a Motorola Droid X, only that in Mexico, it is not comercialized by that name, it is called Motoroi. And theres no Verizon in mexico, carrier is called Iusacell.

I got root via One-Click a while back and i got everything i wanted to work... and now i want to load a custom rom. Ive done this before on my last Android phone (HTC G1)... I managed to root and load roms on my G1 with the help of David Cogen (from theunlockr.com), and Cyanogens Wiki...

Id like to install ApeX on my Droid X now, but i can't seem to find the numbers (version numbers), this forum mentions; i took a screenshot of my relevant "settings"...

I LOVE ApeX but I am not getting the output that everyone else is getting...I am actually getting worse battery life and I can't figure out why...I don't really know how to diagnose through spare parts, but everything seems ok...I could have screen usage at 30 minutes, talk on the phone for 15 minutes, have my gmail only as push and within a couple hours I am down to almost 60 percent. I used to be able to come home from work and still have 60% and now I am barely above 20%...any ideas/help?

I am using LPP, widget locker (I know it isn't this because the stock locker one for a day yielded the same results), only beautiful widgets as a data user on my homescreens (nothing that updates except that)...

how can u show the wireless name like Verizon wireless...
I'm from another country, i was using cdma like Verizon, it not show on my fone ( Sfone Wireless

- that's what i need).
I'd try to use change by hex edit but its not work. ><
_ Default apex does not show the wireless name right ???

Do you know how to install an apk in the app files of your system using root explorer? That is how I installed he blur gallery on my DX with Apex.

Is the toolbox not working for anybody else my friend tried to change the keyboard it looks like it dll but it is not an option under input he also tried to change the email app and it is not there
