Do you use anti virus on your phone?

I feel it's a bit premature for phone AntiVirus, unless you download apps like a whore and always leave your wifi on and with exposed settings, I think Bluetooth 3.0 is tough as nails to break though, just like 2.0 (although I wouldn't be surprised if the 'upgrade' broke this).

I have my wi-fi on at home all the time not sure what settings would leave me exposed. I have downloaded a few apps Launcher pro, smooth calendar, viz battery widget, beautiful widgets etc.
I still download more apps to customise my phone so not sure if maybe I should download an anti virus. I rather not as it would slow down the phone I imagine.

I'm new to Android (joined a month ago) and found myself asking this same question. So far, I have downloaded apps from the Market (with the exception of Cut The Rope and a live wallpaper) and my advice would be just be careful and make sure you read the reviews and check the permissions the app is asking for before downloading it and you should be fine. There are apparantly some AV apps that run on low resource but I just don't personally feel the need for them, but each to their own.

i think the question needing asking is "has anyone ever HAD a security breach"
i have never heard of one.
Bit like a home PC with so many companies inducing paranoia to sell their security products, "get the LASTEST and NEWEST proctection or you will LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY!!!!",when a windows firewall will do the job fine.
hell....i use to INSTALL virus's on my PC just to see is i could get rid of them and see what damage they could do....over 20 years of working and helping others, i have only had 1 serious virus where we just had to throw the drive out.
(had a character out of mad max jumping up and down, laughing in a satantic voice at bootup...pretty funny really. She was a complete noob and had no idea of what she did to get it there)
