At the moment the backspace, L, or P buttons on the keyboard don't register when pressed. This just randomly occurred tonight, I was running Bamf Forever 1.0.9, I was using ICS keyboard from the market, tried force stops, uninstalls, reboots, and no I've been wiping and flashing different ROMs. However these keys still won't work.

Update: Actually the touch screen in general is just freaking out and my presses are all over the place. ideaas??

My phone does this as well occasionally. Turn the screen off then back on and all is good is usually what fixes it for me, but with all of your issues, perhaps you have a touch screen issue. Do you have a screen protector on?

This isn't your run of the mill keyboard bug, unfortunately. My phone won't register anything pressed on the right side of the screen. Switching my screen on/off was my first route. When that didn't work I did a few batteries. When that didn't work I tried uninstalling my keyboard. Then rebooted, still nothing. So I booted into recovery wiped Cache, still nothing. Finally got fed up and wiped, no fix. After trying to flash a couple different ROMs this is still happening and I have no idea why. Working perfect one second then completely f'd the next

Sadly this sounds like the nature of some of the crap produced these days. Some of it is just created to fail. IMO take it back to stock, bring it into VZW/Call customer service and make them replace it.

Yea luckily I have Best Buy insurance so when I wake up tomorrow I'll probably just head on down and get a loaner while I wait for a new one to be shipped, don't even have to unroot it. It's just an inconvenience. I was hoping there would be some miraculous fix however I think you're right, just got me a lemon on my most recent replacement (I've been through 3 so far)

Oh yeah, if youve got Best Buy insurance, just take that thing back and get a new one. Their Black Tie protection is tits.
