I've had my phone and case for a few days now. This case from Verizon.

Set Your Location

I prefer the UTP type cases. The fit is just right, the way I like; doesn't add much size/girth to the phone. However, the back gets really greasy feeling from the oil on your fingers/fingerprints. This is turn seems to make the back when grasping the phone, slippery. While it's OK, I think I'll gonna try something else.

I just spent a couple hours wandering around to various local places, and no one seems to have a side holster for this phone. Yes I can get a Defender, but all Im looking for is a leather side holster with a nice soft lining inside. Its actually not for hooking on my belt, I just like putting the phone in it while its in my car.

Looks like Ill be ordering some off the net! Im very surprised at the state of accessories for this phone.....maybe I was just more excited for the phone than the powers that be :)

I mentioned last night here, that I thought the VZW UTP case felt slippery after all the fingerprints on the back. I had the same case on my Incredible, but I had the back cutout for the extended battery. I think what I noticing different with the two, the big size discrepancy between the two devices: 3.8" vs 5.65"; plus the rubber-textured battery cover on the DI gave it some grip. But the overall size is big difference, since this phone isn't tiny in the palm of your like the DI. So compound that with the fingerprints and it just makes it not as palm-friendly. I took the case back off, and it feels better in the hand naked with the textured battery cover; and it doesn't hold onto fingerprints.

So I now just ordered this cheap ass case from Amazon for $2. It caught my eye back around the release week. The tactile feedback from the volume rocker on the VZW case isn't that great; and I find it difficult at times to press the power button with the cutout.

Got the diztronic rev 3 case today. Wish it had more of a tight grip surface like the seidio surface cases. Other than that, it's perfect.

Just got mine a few minutes ago, I agree the sides could be a little tighter (if that's what you are referring to), but it's 10x better than the boxwave tuxedo that i'm returning. I also have the extended battery on. The screen protector like many have said is okay, all around the edges of the protector it doesn't seem to affix to the phone, looks like it will last a few weeks.

This is the one I got yesterday. (Bought three different cases to see which one I like, all under $10). It fits nicely, easy to slip on and off if necessary. One thing I liked about my OB Commuter for my Bionic was how the power and volume buttons were covered but still easy to press. Having them recessed (though apparently a big upgrade than what it was), makes getting to them a little more difficult. Either way, a nice simple, thin, lightweight case at a great price.

Revision 3 is absolutely outstanding. Perfect fit and all the buttons are uncovered...

Disclaimer: I have the extended battery. Not sure if it might be a little loose with the standard battery...

I received my R3 case last night and swapped it onto the phone in place of my R1 case. A quick glance leads me to believe they may have enlarged it just a bit to be a better fit with the extended battery, but that may have simply been an illusion due to the case flexing during shipment.

I will echo the same sentiments on the screen protector as others- it's too large to fully adhere to the screen. I replaced my R1 screen protector with the new one due to a ding in my R1 protector, but now I sort of wish I didn't need to do so. I think I'm going to finally order the Steinheil protector I intended to order a month ago.

Now when is Sena finally going to have the leather sleeve ready to ship?!

Bought way too much stuff for this phone...

Just got my Revision 3 Diztronic case yesterday, and it must be the flexibility of the material because I have the standard battery and it fits snuggly on that too.

I love it, the buttons being uncovered is great, because on the other TPU case (the Qbits one), I don't think the button covers were perfectly lined up - I'd get it most of the time, but sometimes it didn't seem like I was pressing it. It doesn't have the extra grip texture like the qbits one but it still allows for a solid no-slip grasp and I prefer the smoother texture. And it slides in and out of my pocket easily. I didn't use the screen cover that came with it though.

I'm still on the lookout for something that offers the protection of the Otterbox but with the silicon layer on the inside and the smooth/hard shell on the outside, but the Diztronics will definitely be my day to day case, since it provides basic protection without adding too much thickness.

I just got that one last week for occasional use when I worry about damaging the screen. It works well, but I'm sure it will only work for the LTE with stock battery. It fits perfect though. Clips into a bracket that looks similar to the Barely There case.
