[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

I just restored. Thank god. The other version was so buggy and laggy.

Interesting. There are only a few small bugs none that would make it "so buggy and laggy". Matter of fact there are several reporting build16 to be 'issue-free' for them. Perhaps the wipe methods and apps running being a key difference in what people are reporting. Either way, 17 is gonna be sooooo goooood

yeah must of been me noob restoring my system data.
The build I am running is so smooth but battery life could be improved and I got tired of undervolting.

One bug I noticed was that the recent app button would not show recent apps but if you held down the home button it would come up. Man the on screen button tint with bright green is so sexy.

lol I like the greens too I've been playing with battery mods (green) and nav bar buttons to match!

Which kernel you running? After a flash, remember the first day or 2 with it is not going to be indicative of its potential. You have to give it 2 days/2 charge cycles then see how it is.

Leankernal. I have interactivex set with screen off at 360. Its pretty good in stand bye but I think I can get better down the road. I also think my battery stats are still adjusting. I did a wipe not too long ago.

What mows through my battery is phone calls. More then anything. An hour and a half call yesterday used a ton of battery.

Just an FYI, but after all the reading I've been doing on screen off profiles you are much better off setting gov to InteractiveX and NO profiles. Might want to try it :D

Edit: hold off BT not fixed yet.

What's wrong with the BT? I noticed on M1, the BT would randomly disconnect from my car. It did it twice in one evening and was quite annoying. I haven't had it disconnect since flashing M2 yet, but it's only been a couple days.

Is the stock kernel on M2 undervolted at all? Something about this ROM is making my Nex lag a little. Just scrolling on the (Nova) launcher and dragging down the notification bar is pretty jittery most of the time.

Stock colonel is not undervolted. It could be an app, not the ROM. All the builds I've flashed of aokp have been very smooth.

The BT issue bj is referring to has to do with keeping the phone awake/not allowing it to "deep sleep"

Hey. I just flashed this ROM on a relatively new Nexus. I had all my contacts backed up to Google, so I wasn't worried about using Titanium backup. Now that I loaded the ROM I notice that their is no way to sync to Google, and there is not even a market app.

Is there no way to sync my contacts, or even get a market app? I guess I have to backup?

Thanks.

Gapps and #17 are separate packages unlike previous builds

You didn't flash gapps. Be sure you download the gapps and the ROM and put both zips on your phone. Reboot into recovery, and wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, go to mounts and storage and format system, go back and go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache. Flash Rom and when done flashing immediately flash the gapps package then boot up. Let us know :)
