**** OFFICIAL **** ICS COMING SOON thread... Post all questions and info here!!!!

I feel like deja vu... Hasn't Verizon said once before (not ICS related) that they'll release an update/phone when THEY'RE ready, regardless of what the mfgr says? Not trying to be a downer, just trying to remain realistic, so when we're all back here on Monday complaining about ICS not being rolled out, it doesn't surprise anyone.

EDIT - Nevermind... flame on....

As with anything from VZW and Moto, I dont believe a damn thing until I see it with my own eyes.

Here you go then. This is from VZW and they only do this when it really is happening. Looks like Phandroid has been out droided on the news front today. I only say this since the news is almost old now ;)

DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX - Ice Cream Sandwich

Added: I just now unfroze all my stock apps- just in case it is sooner than later :)

Perhaps you didn't see the link to Verizon's website saying the update is coming out today.

EDIT: Nevermind.

Just to let you know, especially if you've never been through a Verizon Android update, 99% of you will not see anything today. Verizon likes to send out updates at night when traffic is low. Some of you may wake up to the update notification this weekend. Most of you will not see it until this coming week. They take it slow to avoid network problems and to see how many people start reporting problems.

No flash support on ics?

Adobe flash is working with ICS.

Good to know, so maybe we should turn our smart actions off if they disable data during the night.

Actually you're not the first to mention it. It's been chatted about quite a bit in the ICS sticky at the top of the forum.
:)

Edit: And now that the threads have been merged, people are looking at me and thinking 'what the heck is he talking about, this IS the ICS sticky at the top of the forum'.
Thanks guys (Kelmar, I'm looking at you) for making me look even dumber than usual. :)

This. That's how I got 4.0.4 for my Nexus; I got tired of stabbing the "Check Now" button the day it was supposedly released and found the update waiting for me the next morning.

And I also have to say... I've been through several Verizon rollouts and they will release the update when they are good and ready, regardless of what blogs state. If it starts happening today, great, but this isn't my first rodeo so I apologize for sounding pessimistic.
