Its a bit crazy how the shipping is working. Some people getting it today in jersey others not.

A few years back i went to Fedex to pick up a computer parts for a computer i was building. It was in checked in at Bud Lake and scheduled to be delivered the next day. I was able to pick it up. I guess it depends on what type of facility it is. Unless they changed their practices.

Has anyone in North Carolina had their phone shipped yet or even gotten shipping info? Being in group 4 really blows when people will get the phone today.

Frankly, his situation may dictate that he takes the day off. You have to sign for it. If no one is going to be home, then Fedex won't deliver. Maybe he's going on vacation and needs to get it or he's at risk of it being returned back to Verizon.

I really don't think you should be calling him out and trying to dictate HIS priorities. Vacation and PTO days are meant to be used, if he wants to burn his EARNED time off to wait for his phone then so be it.

Subgroup 2b, thank you. I know without a doubt that when I ordered, it said 'free overnight'. And yet, Fedex says delivery on Monday. Oh well.

For those getting their phones today and activating them yourselves, when would you be able to tell if your unlimited data plan is still intact? I really want to attempt activating myself, so could you maybe let us know in this thread if all went well? Again, I don't really know how/when you would know that.

I am in PA. Mine is still in Memphis scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Looks like that date will hold. I was hopeful that I may get it early since Fed Ex received the phone on 7/3. In any event, the 6th is earlier than I thought I would get it so that works well.

I pre-ordered the morning you were able to.

That's what I love about FedEx.... They seem to be able to ship so fast it breaks the space-time continuum.

Mine left Coatesville the 4th with estimated delivery of the 9th and I got the same update this morning. I had some faint hope it would be delivered this week, but at this point I'm resigned to getting it Monday.

This is why it pays to make friends with your neighbors. I have one retired couple next door and another across the street that I've become good friends with. I help them move furniture once in a while and use my snowblower to clear their driveway, they accept packages and mow my lawn when I'm gone. A signed note with instructions to the FedEx driver that goes up when I get my tracking number, and it's sure to be delivered. Win-win.

It is being reported on another forum that Verizon has not released esn #s for this phone. They can not be activated.

Logistics, does FedEx have it figured out or not? I assume they do. It would be interesting to see the delivery routes they use to get our phones to us. My phone has been making trips up north (West Chester PA --> Coatesville --> Linwood --> Newark NJ), and will eventually be delivered to central VA tomorrow.

It would be an awesome graphic to see how the phones originate at one location and then branch out into our grubby, needy hands... A montage would be awesome.

BTW, has anyone else been suppressing the urge to say That's what she said on some of the comments on this thread?

So apparently Business customers are 2nd class citizens. I pre-ordered at 9:30am on the 6th and there's still no movement on my device.
