no ive never backed up system apks, just app store apks. so i dont know.. i think im doing everything right..

Question, will I be able to connect to ad-hoc networks on this rom or do I need to change the wpa_supplicant file?

Yes it works. I think you mean when wifi tethering? The phone creates a ad-hoc wireless access point so your laptop can connect to it and share the internet. It works, I use it all the time.

Just flashed beta 4 last night and settings fc when trying to pair bluetooth with another phone.

-re-applied tweaks from 2.2 to hopefully help with sd readahead speed
-using updated LG Keyboard (from connect 4g)
-minor ui tweaks (power menu icons)
-Added SNS & Smart share (now social+ options work in sync menu)
-put themed phone & dialer back in
-updated apks

I see you added in SNS.apk but I think something is not working with it because there should still be facebook for LG option. There also should be a widget with it. Maybe the linked activities are hosed? TIA for any help!

When it prompts you to save it - just add the .zip extension to it.

Ok, sometimes when I want to find an open Wi-Fi network the only thing open is Ad-Hoc. Normally the Esteem can't connect to this type of network. There are only a few phones that can, and anything running Cyanogen I believe. I guess since you didn't know what it was, that means no lol. Anyways I was asking if you incorporated this into your ROM. I have tested it on 2.0, 2.1, and 2.4 and it works perfectly. Here's where I found it in case you want to put it into your next build.

, i have the theme almost finished but im not gonna push a beta5, im just gonna throw the patch on op when finished, ill also include this in the patch

op updated, beta4 has a flashable patch with some fixes, the patch is not the full rom so dont wipe anything, just flash it over the beta4 if you want it..
