Also what IO Scheduler are you using? noop, deadline, cfq, sio? ( I tend to favor noop and cfq

xthedakmanx you have made me a convert! Up until know I thought your MidnightROM was the best until I flashed this. I do have a couple of questions that I'm not having any luck finding the answers to:

1) Nothing happens when I try to select MusicFX yet every now and then I get a FC for it.

2) What does the pink hat do on toggle bar?

I prefer noop or cfq, and I'm using cfq.

It's a toggle, under Mpdecision.

So, I'm on my second day of intellidemand. I used the device more today, played about 40 minutes worth of games, and in total had the screen on for about 110 minutes. I started with a 100% charge this morning.

Here is the results:

This is now my governor of choice.

Note: This is the stock battery.

Thanks for all the testing, teh_kitty! I also switched to intellidemand from lagfree after your post yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by the moderate boost in performance over the other governor. The best part is that it actually lengthened the battery life; contrary to what I was expecting!

Yeah its a bit of an issue with AOKP roms...

Few things to try:

Pull down the notification bar. Iunno why. SOmetimes it works.

Text yourself, read your message, hope it goes away.

Reboot.

All else fails?

Recovery and wipe caches.

it only started doing it when I updated to version 1.6

Does anyone have 1.5?

caches as in cache and dalvik cache?
what would that do?

Caches would clear out the app caches. Both cache and dalvik cache would be wiped.

As far as 1.5....

I did the wipe and the notification light stayed on xD
and yes, 1.05 is what I meant

well i work from 5-10:30pm est, if you can use my comp for remote building lemme know and ill help you get set up, i have my computer on 24/7 anyways, its runnin ubuntu 10.04 and has all the stuff needed to build from source (im fighting with paranoid right this sec... lol) i got it hooked up to a 20 meg connection too. so just lemme know man, i would be glad to help.

you could do it all on an android phone, with many different options on how to do it. or even through an old palm pilot if you know your stuff. having a broken computer should never stop a nerd.

MNR 1.05 is working flawlessly.
Personally I like Apollo better than any other player

Any tips on how to keep battery life a bit better?
Maybe using another kernel?
