Well, cross that off LOL. If anybody is worried about battery, just wait. I'll report back Monday when I put my phone to work. I gotta fix my car today, bearings, brakes and engine work...

Sunny, 60 degrees at work yesterday and now it's like 35 degrees with 30mph wind gusts. Always on a weekend... LOL, I wish I wasn't a mechanic, I would love to pay somebody else to do it

If it didn't work on vv4 its doubtful it will work on vv5

Good battery life, not sure about connectivity/4G switching away from home area, we'll see tomorrow when I head to work. It seems to work about the same as VV4. Wondering why VV5 was even released!

Oh, my Facebook app doesn't like it. FB will sync/run on 4G for a while after power-up, but after a couple of hours it loses data connectivity until I reboot or enable WiFi. Weird, since other web-dependent apps, like WWF, G+ and Tapatalk will stay connected the whole time. No big loss there, I HATE Facebook anyway hahahaha....

Is the stock music player missing? I was stuck with play music, good just curious about this.
For me vv5 started to use 3g more often than vv3.

If its not in the status bar then no the stock music player is gone

The VV4 link is not working... well it is, but the download size is waaayyy too small for it to really be the actual file. Its 2 Mb on firefox, then tried it on explorer, gave me 24 Mb... either way, its not all there haha. Please please reupload D:

Use a download manager. You can find one on Google. They usually help a lot with downloading stuff like this. If it's not working with the download manager, you may have to add the extension (CAB) in the settings.

Yea I can't download the vv4 version either, can someone mirror this please? It only downloads 4mb and then stops and gives no error or anything, I got vv3 and vv5 but I can't get the vv4.

If somebody will show me where I can share the VV4 file, I will upload it as a KDZ. I have all MS840 firmware .KDZ files from ZV8 up to VV5.

Or I could seed them on uTorrent....

You know it's strange when I installed the .kdz file on my phone it deleted my cab file that was on my desktop, wouldn't we need the .cab and the .kdz files? Seems like that last app I used needed thr vab file for something also?

Bad download or a bad convert of kdz.

I have downloaded 5 versions of the kdz_fw_upd file. unzipped them all and tried each one. I have downloaded 3 of the .cab files of vv3 and converted them one after the other to see if that fixed the issue. Anything you can think other than that, that I should try?

Note: I've also un and re -installed the msxml file and the phone drivers as well.

Make sure the kdz file size is equal to original file.

The kdz file is the same size as the cab file. does it take less than a minute to convert the file from cab to kdz?

No I don't put it on internet connection. I put it into download mode.

It should show you the location of the new file when it is done converting by itself.
