Battery tweaks for the HTC One Sv

UPDATE:

The battery is only lasting aprox the same as the stock battery. I believe this battery to be 1800mAh instead of 2500mAh. So far, it's just not lasting as long as a 2500mAh battery should.

I contacted the seller via Ebay and they offered me a $8 refund which I accepted. The charger has been shipped and will be arriving within the next 2 weeks.

I will continue to update you guys on my findings.

I figured it would be about stock, but the seller had a fairly good reputation on ebay and figured he'd smooth things out quickly if it wasnt up to par. Glad to hear it's going well despite the disappointment!

I'm noticing a slight bit more battery drain, but its not a big deal. I'm pretty sure it's due to Google Now. Overall, I'm very happy with the phone and it's power management.

I was hoping you were going to say that new battery was great, but i kinda figured you were going to report what you did. Every time I have purchased an extended battery for any of my previous phones, they have always been larger in size and required an over sized battery cover. Wishful thinking I guess. Someday they might actually figure out a new way to make a much bigger capacity battery the same size as the OEM battery.

The Mugen one i have is genuinely 1950 mAh and gives a few hours more use than the stock I would say, my friend who has one reports the same. It's not a lot but I think its the best one out there at the moment.

Well guys, this new battery is doing a lot better. Check these stats out. Almost 15 hours up and still 49% left. Not bad at all!
