QVC's Eviant 7" 8GB WiFi Tablet with JB 4.1

I've just ordered my first tablet so I can't say much of anything about yours.

Do you have any info about the battery in your tablet? Such as what type of battery and its capacity?

In shopping for mine it seemed like unless you were reading a review of a high end model the reviewers were all over the place when they rated battery life. Some would say it was great and some would say they'd only get an hour.

I suppose it might depend upon what you're doing with it..as far as battery life is concerned.

B2013, thank you so much for your reply! I am having no issues so far with my tablet, however even adjusting settings and doing the helpful things, the battery life isn't too great. Here is the info I found in the booklet about my battery:
-Rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery
-Approximately 6-8 hrs lasting charge time
about 5 hrs of music playback, 4 hrs of video playback, 4 hrs of web browsing

Yes, it all varies greatly on what you are doing and what you have settings on and such as far as battery life is concerned. On QVC, this tab had mixed reviews but more good than bad. I hope mine keeps going strong. What tablet did you buy?

Hi. I bought a no name generic model. VitalASC is the company. It's stats are in another thread I started. I think it's made by American Sunrex, but I'm not sure. Found it at a special markdown on NewEgg.com. It's my first tablet and I have to admit I'm currently pretty clueless about how to get it to actually do something other than to play Angry Birds, which came loaded on it. I have no wi-fi at home so the machine will mostly be used for non wifi applications. Instead of going everywhere on the web to get started with it, I decided to get a couple beginners intro books from the library. I'm so new to tablets I need a structured approach, which I hope the books will provide. The documentation that came with my tablet is a joke. Your estimated battery stats seem quite a bit better than mine were supposed to be. The info on my battery was: Battery 3.7V / 3600mA Rechargeable Li-Polymer Battery From my short research it looks like the XXXXmA is the deciding factor in battery life. I think mine is probably in the low average range. Yours is probably higher than that, but if it's lower that might be an issue. You might have to look around your tablet's case and find it's model number (because it's exclusive to QVC) then do a search for it's battery mA number.
