My Samsung Galaxy S4 Original or Fake? Samsung All Codes Working.. But starting time showing CIRCLE (not samsung logo) Below Details:

please let me know this is original Samsung phone or fake? If original means how i update India firmware through SD card. Download link pls

There's an app called Genuine Galaxy S4. Install it and it'll tell you.

If it's a genuine S4, SamMobile Firmwares Enter i9500 in the search box and look for the India version (about halfway down). You can install it with Kies. But it's got Know (4.4), so you might want to do a little reading before installing it. (I'm not installing Kit Kat on any of my devices for a long time, if ever.)

Thanks for you Replay and advice. Let me check and get back with you.. I try Kies & ODIN not possible connect. I try all way but it's coming chines or korean language.. So my mobile not coming Download mode..

I think it's fake. That baseband version looks like a mediatek-based device, which would mean it's not a Samsung. Google "mt6589" and see what comes up.

But all samsung codes and all working fine.. it's showing boot time korean or chinese language. that i had doubt.. i check IMEI code. that showing same below link [Mod redacted]

so very confusion. Volume+ Power not showing download mode. that way all i try. but coming SD card boot menus. I don't understand which i need to install this. Kindly if any one know help me.. Waiting for grand help

Download mode is volume down and power then press volume up to continue. Try that

Did you try the app that Rukbat linked?

I don't know what you mean by "all codes working", but a lot of software information is routinely faked. That's why I looked at the baseband, as that's the least-commonly spoofed, though we've seen clones which even fake that. But "mt6589" denotes a MediaTek chipset, when a i9500 should have a Samsung Exynos Octa. That's why I think it's not real.

Yes Sir,
I try that his link. May be this phone is Fake.. But how that is working all samsung original codes. Also his link that software also saying that information it's not conform you ask samsung customer care like.. That more doubt. I want help download mode. if volumeup+power key then volume Down showing android dead logo. But we possible install apps, all futures have. Download mode only issues. I try all ways but no use. Any way thanks lot all.

That is the i9500 stock Samsung firmware, Android 4.2.2, for South Africa (Vodafone), Mauritania, Morocco (MED), Afghanistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kenya, Tunisia, Turkey, Nigeria and Egypt.

You still haven't explained what "that is working all Samsung original codes" means? I'm assuming that it means it has apps which at least look like the original Samsung ones, but the term "Samsung original codes" is unclear and I'm not sure I have guessed right. Could you use different words to explain what you mean?

That "dead Android" is a stock Android recovery program. I don't know what it looks like on a Samsung so can't tell what's expected. But "download mode" is a Samsung thing, not general Android, so it's a fake it may not have a download mode.
