At first, a month ago when ordering up my S5 getting a spare battery was on my bucket list.
Now with experience that requirement is gone.
If during a day of heavy use and it gets low enough to worry, I will just put it into one of the two Power Saving modes.
That option has never been available to me before.
That said though, I use Battery Doctor religiously.
I also w/o fail Close Down all applications before I put the phone to sleep.
I just stated that in reverse order,
1 - Close Applications
2 - Tickle Battery Doctor's widget
3 - Tickle the Power Button and put it to sleep.
Yesterday morning my phone was at 100% having been left on the charger overnight.
Right now, at 0100 with some use, mostly just using the menu system to look up how to be precise in posting help to readers here, the battery is still at 82%
That ain't shabby, I don't care who's world you live in.
Oh, one more thing that is critical if worried about battery life.
Turn OFF the Location feature. Pull down the Notifications Bar and "Location" button is there. If I don't need the GPS, I turn that thing OFF. Leave it ON and you will notice battery life suffers.
I don't care how much mother Google complains, where I am is my business.
