Didn't Verizon used to be listed here?

I'm pretty sure they were. W-T-F.

At least it's still listed here:

Glad I'm not with Verizon..... something doesn't seem right with how they were there and then not, and then the comments about needing to have the phone in their system.
Got a feeling a lot of people who were able to order will get the phone and find out Verizon is a no go at least for awhile.
Big Red just isn't worth it to me.

Hmm. Verizon is still listed on the Google product page and Moto website still says CDMA supported. I'm going with typo n for now and there better be some clarification layer today.

Anger scale from 1 to 10....I'm at a 1.5

Well apparently the "typo" now moved to the product pages, since Verizon is nowhere to be found. The specs page (for now) still lists Verizon.

I'm starting to sense a best-case "Galaxy Nexus" situation, or a "Nexus 7" where they won't allow it for a while or possibly a "Nexus One" situation where they claimed they'd have it, then they won't (and we'll get a locked down Moto S instead).

I REALLY hope I don't have to give up my unlimited data and coverage, but I'm done with Verizon if they screw this up. I hate how they go out of their way to screw an extremely small fraction of their users.

Big Red just isn't worth it for me.

FTFY and emphasis mine. If you want coverage in areas where they're the only one that can provide it, I am betting people would disagree with you.

It's a trade-off. You either live with their shenanigans and get a different phone, or you leave and deal with the consequences. But everyone's coverage and usage is different, so I think

The Nexus 6 supporting wifi calling in the future may allow some people to consider T-Mobile who would not have considered in the past.

No such luck for me today.
Oh well some other day.

Usually my luck is similar to yours, sorry to hear you missed it again. It's never pleasant to come up empty handed. I'll send positive energy your way, hopefully the third try will yield results for you.

Just a thought, having been through the pre-order process with my Moto X also, I've had two smooth transactions with the Motorola Store. Perhaps they'll get restocked before the Play Store. Watching them closely may pay off.

Good Luck :D

No they weren't. And I'm hoping the November part is important not the fact that they aren't listed. But it seems to be that they want control which is typical of them. And are playing hardball. Even if it is just the date part I'm not happy about it. Give me the darn phone already and on Verizon.

If you wanted 32gbBlue and if it were possible to give you the pre-order I would gladly switch it over to you?

I was only speaking for myself with the last part, sorry if it didn't come across that way.
Post has been edited accordingly.

Have a good night

Thanks. I'll keep trying and when it's supposed to happen it will I'm sure. :)

Awww that is so sweet of you.
I would grab it but I really am wanting a 64.
Than you for the gesture though, it was very kind.:)

I've got unlimited data still, but I use so little of it I could easily switch to another carrier if Verizon mucks this up. When I was on the phone with Verizon yesterday in fact, I checked my data usage and it was only something like 358 mb or so and I almost never use wi-fi. (statement cutoff of 11/18 for reference). I used to use over 20 gb a month, but ever since I got my Nexus tablet I've been using that for streaming YouTube, reading web pages, etc. while in bed instead of my phone.

In fact, if I had more options available to me I would switch off of Verizon without any hesitation. Unfortunately, there's no T-Mobile coverage in my area, and Sprint is almost just as bad. AT&T is available, but a lot of it is still HSPA+ and not LTE. Still, if we get screwed by Verizon on this I'll move over to AT&T (or more likely Straight Talk using an AT&T compatible sim).

I mean, at this point it's just pure malice to screw with arguably a TINY fraction of their users. They're just doing it to be a-holes. It's not like having the Nexus 6 will cause their network to explode or cost them money. If anything, it'll make them money.

I truly would like to know why the powers that be at Verizon are SO against the Nexus. Even when it seems they pre-negotiated with Google they're trying to pull this nonsense.

Verizon is trying its best to get rid of any remaining Devs and UDP users on its network. They only want their sheep to quietly stand in line and pay their overpriced overcrappy Edge and Tiered plans prices...

I got a 64GB MB from Motorola today with a ship date of 11/13/2014 and a delivery date of no later than 11/19/2014. The rep I talked to said it would ship ground via Fedex and come from Fort Worth, TX. I am hoping it only takes a day or two at the most to get here in Mississippi. I cancelled my play store order(32GB MB). I am very glad I got the 64GB version.

I hope everybody else gets one pre-ordered soon and gets it sooner!!!! This has been an ordeal with playing Whack A Mole on the Play Store trying to get one. I am now ready for some reviews to tide me over until I can get my hands on it and do some reviewing myself....

Yeah they try every time I go in. When I bought the turbo she started talking data plans. I said nope. She rings me up, verify still UDP, everyone is happy.

A friend walked into a corporate store back home and they wouldn't even sell him a phone. Claimed they're not allowed to sell phones without a new plan ( he's already a vzw customer and was ready to pay full price). I plan on going into this store next month to try for myself.

I just read an article about the N6 rollout that made alot of sense. The bottom line is that Google is purposely driving up interest and demand by holding back availability. Think about it, Google is one of the biggest and most powerful companies on the planet, Motorola has been making phones longer than anyone in the mobile industry and the Nexus customer base is small compared to Apple and Samsung. Yet, in spite of all this, Google and Motorola can't stay in stock for more than a few minutes. Seriously?? Do you actually believe that BS???

Yes. Look how often Microsoft a company of almost unlimited resources drop the ball and miss targets. Never underestimate the levels of incompetence that can exist in these companies. However it is plausible, Apple have done it in the past.

Yea, I don't buy that conspiracy theory either. Sometimes these companies just suck at launching their stuff.

The 19th seems so far away!

I've been spending my time spending even more money to get ready for the new phone. Just received a bunch of cargo jeans today (need the large pockets to carry this beast around! :D)

I do want to get a wireless charger too, but I might wait for either Christmas or at least see if there's a Black Friday / Cyber Monday deal I can grab on the particular model I want.

Waiting also to see if these will take standard headphones with media controls - I've read on here that sometimes Motorla devices have different wiring than a lot of other manufacturers so sometimes they don't always work with standard headsets. If not, I just might end up getting a nice pair of bluetooth headphones and cut the cord entirely.

Luckily, the holidays are just around the corner so I can offload some of these costs onto my relatives! ;)
